There was plenty of room for all of us! My grandchildren loved watching the horses and really enjoyed going swimming in the North Fork River which is just 4 miles up the road, nice gravel beach and good swimming hole. We also enjoyed a float trip and just hanging out with nature. Very relaxing trip. Branson was only 1.5 hr scenic drive awayRecommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

Was there with my husband and two sisters for a school reunion on Saturday. The nice kitchen was very welcome to fixing my meal for the reunion and also cooking meals each day as one sister is on a very special diet. Even when my son and daughter-in-law came Saturday night and spent two nights we sill had lots of room and lots privacy. The layout of the house is very good for several families.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, families with young children, adventure seekers.

As an added note, all cell phone networks get service here except Tmobile and AT&T. I have AT&T and if you have a smart phone with apps you can download a free texting and calling app that runs off of WiFi. This is what I did and it worked fine for me. The WiFi works great so you can bring a laptop and use that too.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.
Owner response: Thanks for the info.

I stayed here with my family for a weekend and didn't have any worries. We had some small children come over and they had so much fun going to pet the horses. The deck was great for hanging out outside. The house had plenty of room and noone felt overcrowded. There were lots of comfy chairs and sofas and lots of beds. It was a great weekend and I would recommend it for anybody!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.
Owner response: Glad you enjoyed the house and the horses. It is fun to see the new colts.

I enjoyed my visit with my sisters who came from KS, and Nephew and Niece who came from OK. Also had plenty of room for other family members from the area on Sunday afternoon. The house has lots of room and is comfortable. I also celebrated my 72 birthday with my three children and grand children staying the night. A total of 30 family came to the party. I enjoyed sitting on the deck visiting with family while enjoying the peace and quite. The worst thing is that AT&T has no bars and the coffee pot went out but was soon replaced. A very good stay!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.
Owner response: Glad we could be part of your birthday. Sounds like you had a very good time.

My girfriend and I wanted to go someplace different and away from the crazy city, so we decided to spend our vacation here for a few days. We could not believe how peaceful and relaxing it is here. We enjoyed spending time with the horses on the property, and we even went to a Rodeo Show that was nearby. After an exciting day, we spent a romantic evening in the spacious jetted tub. Wish we could have stayed longer.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

This place is so relaxing I did not want to leave. Surrounded by the beautiful Ozark oak tree with their gentle rustling leafs and the soft sound of the birds and wildlife makes one feel like they are in the Garden of Eden. About the owner: I travel for a living so the time spent at the farm is so sweet for me. I enjoy being here because the house is clean comfortable and lots of quite. It give me time to relax and enjoy life. I like to go horse back riding and the river (swimming and canoeing).
Why the Owner Chose Dora:
The farm was purchased by my Great Grand Parents in 1896. We built the house in 88 and raised my kids there . My job gives me limited time at home and my wife deiced to move closer to her work. In 2012 i deiced to make this place a vacation rental so that people could enjoy the beautiful Ozarks as much a 5 generations of my family.

If you are planning a trip to the Ozarks you will want to stay here. Lots of room in the house and room to bring some horses. We have some horses available. Near the river for canoeing and swimming.
