Thanks so much for sharing this wonderful home! Everything far exceeded our expectations. Such wonderful decor and history in this home. The kitchen contained everything you could possibly need and then some. The bedding was first class and abundance of fine quality linens was really appreciated. This is truely a property that one can walk in with groceries and enjoy. Everything else is provided. We found this an easy walk to downtown. L

We stayed at this home for 4 nights over our family's spring break. It was a perfect home for us (2 adults, 3 children). We easily walked to the historic district and my two older sons (who run track in high school) ran around the lake nearby, into town, and over the Lions Bridge! We also enjoyed learning about the neighborhood - Lincolnville - which has quite a history. It is clearly evident that the owners take great pride in their property. Very well furnished with nice touches throughout. I highly recommend.

Truly this piece of property is more than a bungalow, it is a delight! Besides having all the necessities one could need, it is a home with so many interesting details both in architecture and in nautical pieces of art not to mention decor. Even after several days of our stay I noticed something new that was interesting. Don't get me wrong, the house and grounds are not cluttered but a well thought out design. It is only a 10-15 minute walk to the historical section of St. Augustine which is great because parking can be a problem. The restaurants were outstanding and affordable. Location was safe. The bungalow is located in Lincolnville where there are many older residences some of which have been and are being renovated. We had an opportunity to meet with the owners, Brigid and Barry. If we lived in St. Augustine we would definitely want to be included with those whom they call friends. We loved St. Augustine and look forward to a return visit.

We arrived and found the Seafarer's Bungalow far above our expectations. The check-in instructions were very easy to follow and we found everything to be in perfect order. The home is a perfect place to come home to after a full day of site seeing aournd St. Augustine!!! On our trip we visited 9 differant lighthouses along the gulf coast and east coast of Florida so the nautical decor was the perfect match for our trip. We had a great time enjoying the area, some of the great things that we did while we were here: * A walking tour of Old St. Augustine * Tour of St. Augustine Lighthouse * Tour of Ponce De Leon Lighthouse * Tour of Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral Lighthouse * Tour of Castillo De San Marcos * St. Augustine National Cemetery * Walking Tour of Flagler College This was a great place to stay and base our touring from. If you are looking to tour the area this is the place for you!!

We stayed in the bungalow during the Christmas week and it was a most relaxing and outstanding vacation. The bungalow makes one feel right at home; there are so many little details that makes this a most unique place and a treasure! Be sure to read all the information that tells about the different decorations in the house. It is a history in itself and tells something also about the owners of the home - they definitely know what it means to create a home away from home. As an artist, I have an eye for detail and I have marveled at all I found at the bungalow. Ribbons around towels, little note cards to mail out, a French coffee press, table brush to clean up crumbs, just to mention a few. Very close to downtown, and very close to a variety of beaches, it is a perfect spot to get away and get a taste of historic St. Augustine, walk the wide beaches, watch birds, and if you are into photography, this is a mecca! We were especially impressed with the Anastasia State Park. Of course, the time of the year was not exactly right for jumping in the ocean, but walking those incredible beaches was more than a great alternative. We could not have wished for better. I could say that Seafarer's Bungalow is a best kept secret, but this secret needs to come out. In short, I cannot mention enough how great our time was in St. Augustine, and the Seafarer's Bungalow bungalow surpassed all the other vacation homes I personally have ever stayed in! Come and experience it for yourself, we have no doubt that your stay will be as memorable as ours.

Fours sisters stayed and really enjoyed this house. It was comfortable and sitting on the front porch was delightful. Very relaxing. We could have walked into town but it was just a little too far for one of us. Delightful! Thanks Brigid!

Everything was perfect. The kitchen was so well equipped, beds & bedding so comfortable. Especially enjoyed our coffee on the porch in the morning in view of the vintage tree-lined street. We rented bikes but also liked walking a few blocks into Historic downtown St. Augustine during the evenings. Recommend Peter's excellent mini-bus tour of the city and only $15/per person. Thanks very much Brigid for a wonderful stay.

Bungalow was real nice. Very well kept and decorated. Plenty of cooking utensils and bathroom supplies. Great to have room to move about during out stay. Enjoyed seeing the old buildings in the neighborhood and the number of properties being restored. Thanks again, J

We just got back from a wonderful weekend, with friends in this lovely bungalow. All 4 of us loved this house! It is really charming, very clean and in a quiet neighborhood but very close to everything. Most everything you need is provided for you so a quick stop at the grocery and liquor stores and you're all set. The beds and pillows are so comfortable, when you're ready to turn in you will get a great rest. Brigid and Bert were very accommodating and also gave great suggestions for dinner. My only suggestions would be to have ceiling fans and TVs in the bedrooms but those are my own little idiosyncrasies which probably don't matter to most and are certainly not deal-breakers. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again, as well as recommend to others.

The Seafarer's Bungalow is a maritime marvel! Terrific artifacts and artwork match the meticulous decor. Everywhere you look there is some fascinating decorative element. The owners were helpful and very professional. Everything was just as advertised. The home was extremely clean and had everything you could need. The area is getting revitalized and more people are restoring the area's historic homes to their past glory. I would certainly recommend this property.
