  Beautiful home secluded yet only 5 minutes to reach Parris Island Main Gate. We were in town for my brothers USMC graduation and literally from the dock you can see the bridge to Parris Island. This is the perfect home for a much needed get away or a family to stay for graduation. I would highly recommend this home to anyone and plan to go back in the near future.

  Stayed for 4 nights in early Nov while visiting our son who is stationed there at the Marine base and had just returned from deployment. We had a very enjoyable stay. The house was very clean and all appliances, furniture, etc.. were excellent. The layout of the house is open and comfortable. We enjoyed the dock very much and it offers a beautiful view, especially during sunset. I would recommend to anyone, especially people like us who get bored in motel rooms. We hope to be able to stay there again the next time we are visiting the area.

  Words cannot describe how impressed we were with this home. The location was perfect for our son's Marine Corps Graduation, family and friends could not believe how beautiful, comfortable and peaceful the setting is. We would sit on the dock early in the morning with our coffee watching the dolphin swim by. I would highly recommend this home for anyone wanting a little get away and especially for anyone coming into town for a Marine Corps graduation. Although the photos are beautiful, it doesn't do it enough justice... This is a must see to believe kind of home! Thank you so much for opening your home to us. I will treasure the pictures taken with such a beautiful scenery behind us. I have already started recommending this home to everyone heading down to Beaufort for a vacation. My new Marine said, sitting on this dock enjoying the breeze, relaxingin the rocking chair, made staying on the Island an extra night worth it!

  We rented this home from Tuesday to Sunday. Our son graduated on that Friday from boot camp. We wanted convenience and "vacation time" on this trip. This house offered both. It only took 5 to 10 minutes to arrive at Parris Island. All dishes, towels, linens, etc....were adequately provided. The home was very clean and the pictures are very accurate except for the screened- in porch. The porch is much larger than it appears in the picture. The many ceiling fans in the screened-in porch and on the covered porch were wonderful. The house sits on a large secluded lot with a wonderful covered dock. We enjoyed fishing at different hours and also saw dolphins daily. We grilled out each evening as opposed to eating out. The internet cable was not working properly when we arrived, but as soon as we informed the owner, the situation was taken care of right away----(new lines were put in)..... I also corresponded numerous times with the owner via e-mail and once or twice by phone. He was very helpful and polite. After our son graduated, he came back to the house with us where he felt totally relaxed. He enjoyed some fishing, too. I would definitely recommend this house. Much more room than a hotel and alot more privacy.

  We had a short, 3-night stay in this amazing home, and I struggle for words to accurately reflect the great time we had and the magnificence of the location. The home sits on one of the loveliest tidal creeks in all of Beaufort. The 500-foot-wide Battery Creek is the perfect creek for boating, kayaking or fishing. The view across the creek to the marsh is breath-taking. The sunsets are right there for you to enjoy. The dock is everything a dock should be. The large, grassy yard has some gorgeous live oak trees that are heavily draped with Spanish moss. The location is great. Very private, very quiet, yet just a few minutes from anywhere you need to go. The home has been very tastefully updated and furnished. Everything you could need while you are here has been provided. We brought our boat. The Paris Island Landing is a 10-minute drive from the house, and about ten minutes by boat right up Battery creek to the house. You can go down the creek about 4 miles to where the shrimp boats are docked, and dock your boat at the 11th Street Dockside restaurant, Beaufort's most popular seafood place. Or you can go all the way to downtown Beaufort, as we did, and dock at the downtown marina. From there, you can take a carriage ride through Old Town Beaufort, walk to great shops and restaurants, and stroll along the beautiful Waterfront Park. Our favorite place to eat is Luther's, with a great view out to the Beaufort River, and good food to enjoy. We did not have any issues that we needed to contact the owner about, but he was just a phone call away if we had needed him. The pictures here are great, and show much of the beauty of the place, but you will be blown away when you get here. You will not be disappointed. All I ask is that you not book the place on a week I want to be there.

  Our family would recommend this home to anyone who desires a quiet home with a beautiful view. We enjoyed the dock and porches daily watching the tide come and go and being entertained with the many dolphin, pelicans, and egrets. The dock was a great place, too, for launching our kayaks. It was such a pleasure to be at this home, we spent little time at the Beaufort waterfront, just minutes away.

  Once you get there you will never want to leave! The pictures don't do justice to the beauty of the home, or to the view from the dock. The gracious owners are a pleasure to deal with, questions were answered promptly. Our only complaint is that we didn't have enough vacation days to enjoy a longer stay.

  By far my favorite place to stay in Beaufort. Upon arrival we were swept away with the majestic oak trees drapped with the most spanish moss we had ever seen. The house was decorated comfortably, equiped with everything we needed and was very bright and open. It is the perfect location for the person that loves the water which we do. The views from inside and out are picture perfect. I loved laying in the bed and being able to see the water day or night. It's a toss up whether the best place to enjoy a cup of morning coffee was the huge screened in back porch or the chaise lounge on the back porch. We thoroughly enjoyed the dock. It was just a few short steps from the house and was the perfect spot to fish, crab, kayak, boat or relax and enjoy a good book. We were only a short drive to downtown Beaufort. I can't wait to reserve my next visit!!

  My family and I stayed here for a long relaxing getaway and everything was PERFECT! We brought our boat and enjoyed the nice spacious dock with deep water even at low tide. It was a perfect location for us to fish in the creeks and come home to cook our catch. Pat made the whole transaction very easy and the listing was accurate as well as the directions. We were just a couple of miles from the Beaufort water front and Parris Island. All of the pictures were spot on and the front porch view was the best I have ever had for a house. The sun sets beautifully through the huge majestic oaks tree in the back yard. Highly recommended and will come back next year!
