Lake Front Home with Spectacular Views!!

  Four couples that have been friends for years really enjoyed staying at this beautiful home. The living room, dining room and porch were perfect for us to gather and relax. The kitchen had ample dishes, glassware and cooking utensils that made preparing meals easy and fun. There were ample bathrooms and sleeping accomodations were super for the couple in the master suite and okay for the two couples in the rooms with double beds and the couple in the bunkhouse. The view of the lake was spectacular. and there was ample, easy parking. The house wasn't cleaned well, but not sufficiently dirty to warrant calling the owners to alert them. The floors in two bathrooms were dirty and the refrigerator had not been wiped out. We had a delicious lunch at Bully Hill Winery and a great walk at Watkins Glenn Gorge.

  Recommended for: Girls getaway, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

  As a family, we have been vacationing at Keuka lake for almost 20 years. Fine View is the most beautiful house we have rented at the lake. As our family has grown through the years, we needed a bigger place. Fine View met all our needs and desires. The location is perfect, with a wide lake front access, and plenty of room for the children to play in the yard and on the beach. We loved the fire pit and all the seating provided. The two docks are perfect. One for docking our boat and one for play. The house is beautiful. It is so spacious we never felt crowded. The kids loved the chalk wall. I loved our bedroom suite and the large cheerful living room over looking the lake. The owner was very helpful and accommodating. We hope we can get everyone together next year for another stay at Fine View.

  Awesome cottage for a large family to vacation at, plenty of room and amenities are second to non. They have though of everything to make their guests comfortable. The chalk wall was fun for the family to play with for the week. Both young and older were not wanting our time to end. Highly recommend this cottage if you are looking to fish, swim, boat, relax, play lawn games, have family meals together or enjoy outings to the small quaint towns near by or the local wineries.

  This home exceeded the listing description. It was beautifully decorated and it was fully furnished with everything we needed (and more). We thoroughly enjoyed our week. We would definitely stay again if we have the opportunity.

  We had a wonderful week at "FIneview" and the name and the pictures didn't even begin to describe how nice this house was. The Dix's were a pleasure to deal with and the location is the best on the lake. The beach, yard and porch was a big hit and the two bedrooms of bunk beds wasa hit with the kids.
