For some it is one of three quiet balcony's, for others it's fishing, splashing in the pool, ping pong matches, grilling out doors, sleeping under the stars or dining by candle light overlooking moonlit water.
Sunways is located on historic Pine Avenue, so you'll have instant access to casual and fine dining, window shopping, unique boutique's, the Island players theater, ice cream and expresso, gourmet cheeses and wines. Simply meandering along the 'avenue'.and you'll enjoy all of the island's amenities plus bike, scooter and kayak rentals. And should you want to visit the entire island of Anna Maria, just catch the free island trolley. Come, park your car and leave the world behind...Explore the north island beaches where sand bars rise out of the Gulf at low tide, where dolphin swim and play daily and pastel shells appear each morning...welcome to island life!
At home, you'll enjoy every comfort. The beautiful living room/dining room at Sunways has a baby grand piano and sliding glass doors that open the entire area to a spacious porch overlooking sparkling Lake LaVista, a small saltwater lake that opens to the Bay. By day, enjoy reading a book on the second story balcony and in the evening, with the magic of candlelight, moonlight and starlight shimmering on the water, dining becomes an event all ages look forward to. The cooks kitchen has instant hot water, eSpring purified water at the sink and a small extra refregerator for keeping drinks cold. The entire home is on a Rain soft water purifying system. For those who enjoy a cozier space, there is a sitting room with a small library, internet access, a 55 inch high definition T.V.,over 100 dvd's. and a balcony that opens to the east, with two rocking chairs where you can sip your coffee and watch the sunrise.
Upstairs, the King Master bedroom has a 32 inch high definition T.V., beautiful faux fireplace, private bath/double head shower and french doors that open to a large private balcony with double chaise lounge for sunning or sleeping under the stars...very romantic! The queen bedroom is sunny, cheerful, has pillow top queen bed, large bath/shower, double pedistle sinks and a small balcony. The third bedroom doubles as a bed room/sitting room and is designed to be a fabulous upstairs hide away with high definition T.V., dvd player and comfortable pull out double bed.
The first floor game room is equipt with ping pong table, dart board, dvd player/projector and comfortable couches for another great hide away (perhaps for the kids) and has french doors that open to your dock, pool and another dining area with propane grill.
Each morning make yourself a cup of coffee or grab one at Cafe on the Green and greet the dawn breaking over the bay, and after a full 'sunkissed' day, stroll to the beach and join the island tradition of watching the sun melt into the Gulf... stand in awe as the sunset takes your breath away with new colors every evening... manatee, dolphin and the most unusual island birds will delight you while you wiggle your toes in sugar white sand on the Gulf. Our restaurants are among the finest, our window shopping is second to none and there is no place on earth that brings a sense of peace like Anna Maria.
