  My fiance and I booked this fabulous 2 bedroom condo a week before our impromptu vacation, and it was perfect! Fans in every room, a gorgeous shared backyard with the other units, and a fully functioning kitchen that we used each morning and evening (saving tons of money by eating in!). The closest beach is behind the Royal Kahana, and is only a short 5-minute walk away. You're also a 5 minute drive away from Napili and 10 minutes from Kapalua and Hanalua Bay. In short, a great location! The unit also had beach chairs, boogie boards, and towels, which were all great to have for our use. Janice and Darryl were fabulous hosts, and we hope to come back very soon.

  ALOHA! Pohailani Maui Resort, #115, is in a great location in Kahana. Not oceanside but just across the street. Lower level of a duplex and very quiet on beautiful grounds. Comfortable beds, nice shower, well equipped kitchen, spacious and nicely furnished. We grilled several nights and saw turtles. Owners are pleasant and easy to work with. We stayed 15 nights and enjoyed all of Maui, the ocean and the mountains. Beautiful beaches close by. Napili Beach was our favorite. Honolua Bay gorgeous (can take Triology IV there). Makena Beaches in the south were beautiful, too. Very good plate lunches ($7.25), enough for two, at Honolua Store in Kapalua. Best shave ice we had was in Lahaina on Front Street at Uluani's (Haleakala). Drive over West Maui Mountains to Wailuku beautiful but must drive carefully on very narrow road. Old Lahaina Luau; short, self-guided tour of Kaanapali Coffee Farms (nice views); Lavender Farm (located on the slopes of Haleakala crater) all worthwile. Liked Makawao and Paia in Upcountry. Sherri Reeve Gallery in Makawao very nice. Stopped at roadside stands for banana bread, smoothies, fish tacos, cold pineapple and all good! Seabury Hall Craft Fair and Maui Craft Fair had nice quality art from Maui and fun. We love Maui and its people and hope to go back. We hope we can stay in this same condo!!! ALOHA!

  My stay at Darryl and Janet's condo was fantastic. The condo has recently been remodeled and everything was pristine. The luxury of having the doors open throughout the day with a cool breeze was something rarely experienced in Texas. Two pools on the property that are well maintained, yet empty, made me feel like I had my own private pool. The ocean is a few short steps out the front door, where I spent every evening lounging in a chaise, watching the sea turtles, as the sun set right in front of me. I would highly recommend this condo to everyone! Thanks again for a great trip.

  We had a wonderful time in Maui. The condo was very clean and just like the pictures. We used the pool a couple of times at night. We only really stayed in the condo to sleep and eat breakfast. There was a cooler and boogie boards that we used daily. We did our laundry daily and that was nice to have. We shopped at Safeway for our food. The breeze was great at night and we didn't need to use the air conditioning. The owners were great and answered all of our questions. We had a car and travelled all over Maui. I would recommend taking the entire island in. It was the vacation of a lifetime.

  I will gladly give the first review! This is a very cute and well furnished condo. I loved the view of the ocean and the location is perfect. I got a great good nights sleep and wonder where they get their mattresses from because it is so comfortable. The kitchen was well furnished. We all really enjoyed ourselves and would recommend this place to anyone. It is airy open. We will be back. My nickname is not gerry richarsds_HAC115539 though. You might want to get rid of that. Thank you

  I absolutely love this condo. You can tell that the owner went to a lot of trouble and expense to make this one of Kahana's coziest places. My husband and I had a wonderful time walking along the beach that was right outside the door. Resonable priced also. All future vacations will be booked here, for sure. Thanks to the owners for making our stay very comfortable.
