I spent a long weekend with 11 longtime friends at the Playa de Kiki (Austin Women on the Loose). It was the perfect set up for us. The decor is beachy and fun, clean and well maintained, well stocked with all the right kitchen amenities, perfectly located and sooo much room and parking! We had a great time decompressing from our normal lives. I hope to stay at this property again in the very near future. Playa de Kiki has made the top of my list for accommodations in Port A.

I'll start by saying, what a great house this is!! Renting a house online can be iffy, you always hope that the place will be as good as the pictures, in this case, it was. My family and I (16 total), ranging in ages of 4-65 had a fantastic weekend here in September last year. It was big enough that we were never in each others's way and it the house itself was very welcoming. The patio is great for barbequing and playing card games, all the bedrooms are big enough for 3 or 4 people. The loft was great for the kids, it was like their own little private area. We did have to drive to the beach, but not a bid deal since we had lots of stuff to carry anyway. The beach was clean and not too crowded. I give Playa de Kiki a 5 star rating and can't wait to go back this year, It was a pleasure working with the owner Phyllis, she made the entire process extremely easy!!

Fun, clean and spacious beach house

Not knowing for sure what to expect besides what was advertised, and taking a large group of 9 adults and 6 kids, we were anxious about being in each other's personal space. However, this fun, beach-decorated house accommodated our rowdy group just fine including space for personal time away from the chaos. It was better in person than the photos on-line show. Bedrooms were large enough for individual families and beds were comfortable. Large outdoor deck with grills provided a place to sit and chill out while grilling dinner and to enjoy the evening. Owner was very helpful in answering any questions we had in advance of our stay. While visiting, we spent most of the time at the nearby beaches. However, we did visit local attractions in Corpus Christi including TX State Aquarium and USS Lexington. Avery's Kitchen near the house is good for families and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend this place to friends or family and we may return again in the future.

I recently hosted a group of friends at La Playa De Kiki and it could not have worked out any better. The house is in a perfect location right off Eleventh Street with close proximity to the beach and to town. I was very impressed with the house itself as it is very spacious, slept everyone comfortably and had great parking underneath the house. The place is very clean and well maintained with top notch amenities. The deck is perfect for cooking out and the open living room is inviting to everyone. In addition, Phyllis was great to work with as far as pre-trip planning and coordination was concerned. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for the perfect Port Aransas getaway weekend with family or friends! Thanks Phyllis!

This beach rental far exceeded our expectations! It is a well kept, fun decorated home that was enjoyed by my family of 16 people. We all loved the open kitchen/living/dining to have our togther time. The home is so spacious that we never felt like we were on top of eachother. We look forward to renting again soon!

Big Family + Playa De KiKi = Awesome time! Absolutely one of the best homes we have stayed in for Family Vacation. Only small negative there was a bit of a walk or drive to beach but not a big problem. Amenities was great, how was spacious and it looks just like the pictures seen above. Just a wonderful Easter weekend with my family. Will definitely stay there again!!

Our family had a great time. You have a beautiful home, so nicely done and very reasonable rates.. 11-14 people with no problem, we would have had to get at least 4 hotel rooms, the deck is a hidden asset. Thank You!!!

What a wonderful relaxing week we had in your home near the beach. We all loved the decor - the colors you have chosen are so serene and beachy. The deck is such a nice "extra room" - we spent hours and hours out there. We had a great time!

Thank you for offering such a perfect vacation home for our family! 1st, I don't know what happened to my original comment. I entered one last summer as soon as we got home. hmmmm... anyhow, our vacation was as perfect as it could have possibly been. The house was everything you promised. We had planned to return this summer, but our schedule did not allow it. We have four very unhappy children, so no doubt we will be back next summer! AND we will be staying at La Playa de KiKi! My cousin and his wife are coming down in a few weeks with some friends and they are going to be enjoying your house. I highly recommend this vacation home to anyone wanting to have the perfect beach house experience!

Our family loved our week at the Hana House very much! The attention to detail made us feel welcome and relaxed. (Children should bring their own entertainment as needed). The porch to clean sand off things helped so much. Thanks so much for the wonderful family memories!

WOW! This is the perfect place for a large group/family. It's VERY nice. If you've ever rented anything else in Port-A, you'll be blown away at how nice, relaxing, and spacious this place is. It's not too boat-parking friendly, but you can get around that. Great place for a large family get-together. We will definitely be booking this place again!

This was by far the best Spring Break of my life! Thank you for trusting a bunch of college students from Texas! Your beautiful house made our Spring Break so memorable! I cannot get back there fast enough! If anyone is interested in going down to Port A, don't look anywhere else. This is the best house on the island! In between watching the sun come up while sitting on the back porch and the minute walk to the beach, I could not imagine staying anywhere else when I go to Port A! Thank you so much!
