We enjoyed our two night stay in this condo. The weather did not cooperate, but the location was ideal with plenty to do near-by. The neighbors were friendly, and quiet. The condo was neat and the directions made it very easy to settle in.The bedrooms were great, master bed very comfortable with a fabulous shower! The view was beautiful, but with 20-30 mph we didn't spend alot of time on the balcony.

We stayed June 24th - 26th.....had a great time! Suzanne was wonderful to take us, in such short notice. We loved the screened in deck, got to see a storm on the lake! it was so lovely. The condo is wonderful.... view is amazing! We keep coming back to Suzanne place, she is wonderful!

We just spent another fabulous Sister Weekend at this condo, and we came back rejuvenated and at peace. The condo is light and filled with good and positive energy. How can it not be with such a good hostess, a beautiful sunrise, and amazing views? We feel so lucky to have such great hospitality! Thank you for sharing. This was our first time to Lake of the Ozarks and we were very happy with our choice of Suzy's condo. We are innkeepers ourselves, so we're kind of picky. It has everything you need for a pleasant stay. Loved the screened deck, loved the pool and loved how quiet it was. Maybe it's because we were there mid-week, but there was peace and quiet, very enjoyable. We would definitely stay there again.

We have stayed in quite a few rental units in many places. The unit at Woodcrest was definitely five star! Look at the pics on the internet and know that they do not exaggerate the beauty -- nor do the descriptions or reviews. Everything is exactly as stated. No surprises. It was terrific! We stayed five nights at end of August, 2009. We would love to return to this quiet, well-kept, lovely place.

We stayed in the 2 bed, 2 bath unit in Woodcrest, and found it to be wonderful. The view is great, and the screened in porch with the gass grill and outdoor TV give you plenty of chances to enjoy it. Woodcrest is tucked away off of HH, but it is very close to some of the Lake's best entertainment. I would highly recommend this place for a nice relaxing stay. The owner Suzanne is great to work with.

The condo was very nice, clean, well maintained and situated in a wonderful setting with beautiful views from a screened-in deck area. The owners were very kind, nice, easy to work with and very accomodating. They have added many extras to the unit making it even more special than the photos show. The unit was dressed with local information making the "get acquainted to the area" easy and fun! The neighbors, were fun, friendly and very nice. This was our first trip to the Lake Ozarks area, but it won't be our last, and we truly hope we can re-rent this unit....a wonderful home....away from home. We were so impressed, we have already taken the liberty to send photos and information to our family and friends that we know would appreciate the unit and area! Our children and grand children stayed nearby and had a small boat which enhanced our ability to explore and enjoy the lake and all that it has to offer. Bottom line, we don't know how you could go wrong working with a wonderful owner to enjoy a little piece of heaven on earth in Missouri. Thanks again to Suzanne and VRBO for making our week long vacation memorable for many years to come.

Having stayed at Tara before we looked forward to staying at 1C Woodcrest. This unit exceeded our expectations. Everything was beautifully furnished, nothing overlooked. From a woman's point of view the well placed wall of mirrors lets the "cook" see the lake from the kitchen as if you were standing on the deck. Thank you for all the work you have put into this home away from home. We plan to return as soon as possible to enjoy your unit and the Lake area.

Suzanne, We stayed in 1C and it was perfect for our needs. A lot of nice touches that made us feel very much at home. We just got back from our stay at your 2 bed,2 bath condo at Woodcrest. Your directions were great. We could not ask for a nicer place to stay; it was quiet, beautifully furnished, down to the tv on the deck, cd player (and cds), movies in the bedroom. So peaceful and the view was really nice. The screened deck was a real plus this time of year (no bugs)!Our dog was safe out there we did not have to worry about her. We enjoyed the pool being such a short walk, just far enough to not have the noise. Suzanne, you made this a special place, and we can honestly say it is the best condo we have ever stayed in; the perfect getaway from everythng place. Suzanne, We were in your 2Bd.2Ba. at woodcrest,the condo was everything you said it would be. We were house and condo shopping for about 8 days and this was so nice to come home to. The kitchen is as large as a lot of homes and very efficient also the large laundry room was great.You have it decorated so nice.We didn't purchase a home yet so we will call you for our next trip. We enjoyed our stay immensely. It was beautifully decorated, clean, and neat. So much better than a motel! Thank you for sharing your condo. We enjoyed a truly relaxing and carefree vacation in this cozy condo. I can't imagine finding a better view anywhere. The fluffy rocker/recliner in the bedroom, comfy king-sized bed, and perfectly positioned porch swing were my favorite amenities. We look forward to returning next year!

We had been looking forward to unwinding at the lakee was , and this cute little placjust what the doctor prescribed.....fell in love with the porch swing at first sight...the view is "beautiful"....the apartment has all that you need to feel at home away from home...and suzanne is great !!!! We asked the owner for a great view, a warm welcoming place to stay and peace and quiet. All we got was a sunset on the main channel, a rising full moon, no traffic and outstanding comfortable accomodations. That was just the first night. In my book, there's no better getaway at the lake. Beautiful drive, incredible views, great restaurants nearby and golf, shopping and "relaxation." We're going back...hopefully many times.

Your condo at Woodcrest was absolutely perfect! The shoreline below the deck was absolutely gorgeous as was the pool. I loved the swivel chairs in the living room and the TV was awesome for watching the Live8 concerts Saturday. The king size bed was very comfortable. I wouldn't change a thing.

What a wonderful place for a quiet, romantic weekend with a partner. With a wonderful view and a cozy interior, Tara is the perfect place to stay for a long weekend or even a week!

The first thing you notice about Tara is what it's not -- a big, high-rise condo project with dozens of units. And, while the building looks small on the outside, inside it's spacious and comfortable. The moment you open the door, it feels like a home away from home. Tara has a great location on Horseshoe Bend -- close to all the lake's main attractions -- and an excellent view of the lake. And even though the cool weather prevented us from golfing, we still got exactly what we wanted -- a relaxing getaway from the daily grind. All in all, Tara is a great place to stay and we highly recommend it!

As soon as we walked in, I remarked,"How cozy!" It really was a home away from home! The view of the Lake was incredible, and at night the sound of the waves crashing against the rocks truly gave it a sense of being on the beach somewhere. I hope to stay there again sometime!

What a wonderful place to stay! It is private enough to get away from it all, but close enough to activities. The condo is perfectly furnished. You REALLY could show up with just your toothbrush. We had a very relaxing time and enjoyed the view tremendously. Although pet-friendly, you can't tell other pets have been there. (we were petless this trip). It was a great relaxing experience. We will be back!

This is exactly what we were hoping for;A little "peace" of heaven on earth. You are so close to the water that when you lift your head up off the pillow, you become consumed by the beautiful water and actually will come away feeling like you've been on a yacht rather than land locked. I was looking for a nice, quiet weekend getaway at the last minute and found it here!! The owner was able to accomodate us on short notice, which was much appreciated. The condo has a great view of the lake and is very well maintained. You have the feeling of being at a friends home instead of a piece of rental property. The interior decor is of a nautical theme and has everything you need, gas grill, coffee pot, porch swing, DVD player, and the list goes on. It was also very important to us that we were able to bring our dog with us. We would recommend it to anyone who enjoys being around the water.
