Ocean Breeze Guest House is located on a quiet street around the corner from Chase Ave.and a block from W.Harwich . The house, with it's salmon colored door, is the first house on the left on Caleb St. The site is superb with its proximity to Sea View Beach (150 yards) and Inman Beach (200 yards). Inman Beach has a lifeguard on duty in summer, assuring to parents with young children. The EAT-IN KITCHEN is complete with all amenities: utensils, dishes, toaster, microwave, refrigerator, gas stove, dishwasher. The kitchen also includes a lobster pot. If you call ahead, Stop & Shop will steam your lobsters, ready for pick-up in a couple of hours. Ocean Breeze Guest House has a comfortable Large LIVING ROOM with a brick fireplace.

Children will delight in the POND with birds ducks and other small wildlife passing through. Ocean Breeze is a happy place with freedom for children to run & play in the BIG YARD. The Cape is jam-packed with things to do and so many things to see. Swimming and Sunning , Shopping & Sightseeing, Day trips to Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket to name a few. You may want to explore other beaches such as W.Dennis beach, one of the finest beaches on the Cape (few miles away). For something real special ? Treat yourself to a romantic picnic on the beach at sunset! Or take the whole family. After a busy day you might choose to relax on the lawn under a big shade tree with a book, cool drink, and the barbecue sizzling on the grill. Evenings you can walk to our famous Sundae School Ice Cream Parlor for a BIG CONE or BANANA SPLIT. Everybody goes there ! The Dog House is a favorite with both kids & adults. Nobody makes mouth watering hot dogs like they do. You will find a booklet in the house listing '25 fun things to do' and other important information regarding the Cape. There is parking for 2 cars . We are here for you if you need anything .

We spent 10 days in Anita and Joe's rental home this summer and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The house is literally steps away from one beach and a less than 5 minute walk to several other beaches. The home was very clean, well maintained and the kitchen was stocked with a good amount of equipment which made our stay much easier. The block where the house sits is exceptionally quiet and peaceful. Anita and Joe were very knowledgeable about the area and extremely hospitable.Did you find this review helpful? $50 cancellation fee if cancelled one month prior to arrival.. Unless we rebook, deposit will be retained for cancellations received less than one month prior to arrival. Off season..... $25 cancellation charge for more than 7 days prior to arrival. Deposit retained for notice 7 days or less.

Year Purchased: 2006
About the owner: Joe is an MIT graduate class of 51 and for 30 years he was vice president in a firm that specialized in the manufacture of geodesic domes. You may have seen one (huge golf balls) in your travels as they are part of a worldwide landscape. Anita is a retired professional actress having played many roles on the Boston stage. She has also done commercial and voice-over work. We are proud parents of four children and eight grandchildren. Weston, MA was home for 40 years and now we call Cape Cod our home.
Why the Owner Chose Dennis Port:
Our first venture to the Cape was opening a Bed & Breakfast on Inman Rd in in Dennisport, which we still run . After a few years we looked for a property nearby where we could get away and relax from the hectic day at the B&B. We fell in love with this 1 acre property with a main house and guest house (which we rent). We call the Guest House ' Ocean Breeze' because in the early morning you can smell the ocean and feel the faint breeze which is truly heaven sent .
The Unique Benefits at this House:
We now live next to the guest house on an acre of land with the ocean nearby. Early summer mornings when we walk over to the B&B to start our day, we can see the ocean and know that life is good. There is a secret path from the house that takes us to Sea View Park and the walking trail with the children's playground. One of my favorite days is Fourth of July with the Parades & Fireworks on the beach. If you hear the lament of bagpipes far off, it's not your imagination nor a ghost . It's a resident dressed in kilts whom every year walks the Sea View trail playing those wonderful, soulful songs. It gives you a chill! Our Cape Craft shows, the famous Cape Cod Baseball League, and shopping in nearby villages are wonderful things to add to your itinerary. We love living here and look forward to the ever changing seasons especially when Summer rolls around. But then each season holds it's own mystery.
