Arrange fishing charters for deep sea fishing off nearby Seven Mile Bridge or snorkel on the area coral reefs. Less than an hour's drive is popular Key West and it's about a mile walk to Seven Mile Bridge to view spectacular sunsets!

Why the Owner Chose Marathon
I chose the Florida Keys for a vacation destination for the past 10 years so it only seemed natural to want a permanent place of my own in the Keys.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
I thoroughly enjoy walking along old Seven Mile Bridge on the way to Pigeon Key and searching for sealife in the shallow aqua/blue waters. Spotted rays, dolphin, shark, sea turtles and a huge variety of tropical fish are there - if you are lucky enough to see them!
Visit gift shop for souvinirs and information about Pigeon Key and museum.....staging location for construction of the Overseas Highway and preceding railroad.
Walk the Old Seven Mile Bridge to Pigeon Key (2 miles) and for the opportunity to see sea wildlife including manta rays, turtles, sharks, tropical fish, dolphins and manatees. Seven Mile Bridge is one mile from condo unit. Walk or drive (parking available).
Eat breakfast or lunch at the Suffed Pig for a great Keys dining experience. Indoor and outdoor seating.
Great place for oudoor casual eating (lunch or dinner) on the water! Try their famous lobster reuben sandwich.
Visit the famous turtle hospital. You will see turtles who are being rehabilitiated after injury. The hospital also provides narrated tours and eco-video interpreations of marine life habitat in the Keys.
Vising Sombrero Beach / Park is not to be missed for a nice beach experience or picnic..
At MM 50.5 This is the place to pick up your key for access to the condo unit. It is located "in the back" at the Gulfside Shopping Center next to Exit Realty, bayside.

Gary was born an raised in Minnesota and lived for many years in Michigan.. He moved to Florida in 2006 and has been enjoying the sunshine and beautiful waters of Miami Beach and the Florida Keys. Faro Blanco is a special place with excellent water views, lighthouse and the actibity of a bustling marina (soon to be renovated).
