Un Soleil (One Sun) is our largest cottage of our four cottage compound named Les Petites Maisons (The Little Houses). Our four cottage compound will accommodate up to 10 guests – Un Soleil cottage sleeps 4 guests and our other three cottages sleep 2 guests each with one queen bed. Depending on your needs, you can rent one cottage or all 4 cottages, each couple having their own privacy. With the rental of all 4 cottages, our community garden can be used for a special event, such as, a private party for up to 50 people. We have special event packages available upon request.
We are located 8 blocks east of the historic Sonoma Plaza in a quiet, peaceful, upscale residential area, surrounded by some of Sonoma's oldest and finest wineries, such as Buena VIsta Winery, Ravenswood Winery, Sebastiani Winery, Bartholomew Park Winery and Gundlach Bundschu Winery -- All, just a few minutes away.
Our Un Soleil cottage is completely refurbished and cozy in design and exudes charm and comfort throughout. This cottage is beautifully decorated in warm and bright tones of sunny yellow, sunset orange, cheery red and olive green. It has wooden floors in the living room and kitchen, a queen-size bed in the main bedroom, two twin beds in an upstairs bedroom, bathroom with shower, TV (DirecTV complete package), VCR, DVD, plush cotton towels, robes, 100% cotton sheets, goose down pillows and comforter, Calphalon cookware, hand painted dinnerware, etc. Housekeeping varies based on the length of stay, and may be requested in advance of your stay for an extra fee. Check out cleaning fee is included at no additional cost. Extra towels and laundry facilities are available upon request. This cottage has its own semi-private garden area and shares a common garden area with a fountain and picnic tables with umbrellas with our other cottages. Perfect for enjoying the beautiful warm Sonoma days and evenings! Gas BBQs and bikes are available upon request at no additional charge.

Why the Owner Chose Sonoma
The front of the property has an old country store that was built in 1913. When we first drove by the property, we fell in love with the store and then noticed the wonderful country cottages in the back of the property. There was a "For Rent" sign on the store and when we called the owner, we asked if he would sell the property...and the rest is history!

We had a great stay and I only regret that we couldn't stay longer. I loved the deck with lounge chairs, table, umbrella and what a wonderful surprise to see we had our own chiminea which we did use. Also loved the yummy fig soap and lotion. Also enjoyed biking to Buena Vista Winery. I will use the rest of the fig lotion and shower gel and think of our trip until I am able to visit again.

Our stay with you was a real highlight of our San Francisco/Napa/Sonoma vacation. Every aspect of our stay was exceptional. Your thoughtful attention to detail in decorating/outfitting the cottages was evident and most appreciated. I travel extensively and cannot recall an instance where, on arrival, I found the room to be so comfortable and peaceful that I simply didn't want to leave. The welcome basket and fabulous coffee was thoughtful and most appreciated, the winery tour you arranged as part of our package was outstanding and our meals at all 3 of your properties were exceptional! You exceeded all our expectations and we sincerely look forward to returning. Our only regret was that we hadn't planned to spend more time in Sonoma. We won't make that mistake again!! We had the best meal of our 2 week vacation in California whilst dining at the Girl and the Fig. All in all, a wonderful time enjoying your three business that have obviously been crafted from the heart.

These cottages were fantastic. We came as a group of four and rented two separate cottages. We loved the amenities in each place, but especially the fantastic deck attached to Quatre Etoiles. We dined al fresco each night and were very impressed with the tranquilty afforded by these cottages. They are an absolute treasure / find in the Sonoma Valley and we will definitely be returning next time we are in California.
