Welcome to “A Place At The Beach” – Atlantic Beach’s premier vacation resort. In addition to the beautiful, wide, soft, white sand beach and gorgeous views, enjoy numerous amenities included at no additional charge at this family-friendly complex.
This unit is a cheerful 2 BR/ 2 BA overlooking the central courtyard. Enjoy an excellent view of the outdoor pool and playground from the living room or private balcony! The living area provides plenty of seating, cable TV and DVD player. The dining table easily seats six. The master bedroom features a private bathroom, a TV, and views of the courtyard and pool. With two twin beds in the second bedroom and a queen sleeper sofa, up to six can sleep comfortably in this unit. A fully equipped kitchen will make you feel right at home. Free Wi-Fi and a private washer/dryer unit are included in the condo as well.
The complex offers more amenities than any other complex in Atlantic Beach. The oceanfront location allows immediate access to the beach without crossing any streets or roads. The large outdoor pool offers a wade-in area for toddlers as well as the only water slide in Atlantic Beach! The central courtyard also features a playground with swings and climbing structures, a large grassy area for lawn games, and outdoor charcoal grills. An indoor heated pool and Jacuzzi are only a few steps from this unit and allow pool fun year round. The resort also includes basketball and tennis courts, shuffleboard, a mini-golf course, a ping-pong table (all necessary sports equipment included), a game room, gas grills, and an outdoor hot tub. An on-site store offers movies for rent and convenience items, and knowledgeable resort staff are on the premises to help with any questions you may have.
The surrounding area offers lots of additional attractions. Morehead City and Beaufort are a short drive away, Fort Macon State Park is less than a mile from the complex and the aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores is just a few minutes away as well. Charter fishing (inlet and deep sea) is available year round. Fresh local seafood is served at many nearby restaurants, and a grocery store, several shopping complexes, and a movie cinema are all within a few minutes drive.

Myself, daughter and son in law, two small grandsons and my son visiting from Indiana stayed here and had such a wonderful time. It is our third year staying at A Place at the Beach however the first time staying at this particular condo. The unit was clean and very assessible from the parking lot and also to the pool and beach. The view was great because we could see the pool and a little of the ocean which my grandsons loved. The unit is decorated in wonderful beach colors which made it very pleasant and enjoyable. We will definitely stay here everytime we visit from now on. We all highly recommend staying here! :)Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

A Pace at the Beach is a great location for families. We arrived on a Friday for a quick family reunion weekend. The place was wonderful with 2 pools, the hot tub, waterslide and only steps from the beach. Everything was well maintained and clean, organized and enjoyable. The unit was very nice and perfect for our family - kitchen was well stocked, linens on the bed and very nice and the deck overlooking the inner court and pool, playground meant the parents could sit on the deck and watch the kids playing below. Wonderful unit and wonderful complex!!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

Our family enjoyed our stay very much. The owners are very responsive and friendly and the unit is very clean and quiet and is equipped with all that is needed for a well planned get-away. The bonus of mini-golf, choice of pools, tennis court and easy walk to the beach is also very nice! I would recommend this unit to our friends.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, age 55+.

What a great place to stay! The condo was very clean, well kept and had everything that we needed. David, the owner, was fast to respond to any e-mail we sent him and the check in process was easy and quick. The complex has a lot to do for no extra cost (miniature golf, tennis and basketball)and the beach is right there. It was pretty cool when we were there so we didn't use the pool but it looked gorgeous. The complex also has rental bikes which was so nice. We rented a couple of bikes and rode to Fort Macon which is just a mile down the road. I would definitely recommend this property.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+.

We enjoyed the rental very much. The association has done a nice job with the indoor pool keeping it actually WARM in the offseason. I think we made 4 trips here just last year but all the summer. I think I have stayed at maybe 7-8 different units at APTB and I think your unit has been the nicest.Recommended for: Families with young children.

We had a wonderful stay! The condo was clean and had all the ammenities of home. The property was well maintanined inside and out. We had fun with the basketball court, mini-golf, open area, playground, swimming pools and of course, the beach. It was exactly the relaxing Easter weekend we needed!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+.

Unit 184 became my 'home' for a week the first week of November. It was welcoming, tastefully decorated, and had all the 'extras' that helped make my vacation time enjoyable and pleasant. It was actually a little hard convincing my wife to leave on our check-out day - she had enjoyed her visit that much! I have no reservations about recommending both the unit and the owners (who facilitated this rental) to one and all. By the way, if vacationing on this property - at this time of year - there's a good chance you might have the wonderful indoor pool & hot tub to yourselves - as we did several times this past week! Don't just take my word for this review - come and experience it yourself!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, age 55+.

Enjoyed our stay at this condo! So much to do, but we had so little time! The water slide was a huge hit with our family. Nice wide beach. The owners were great to work with and extremely organized with the rental process and prompt in responding to questions. Our family of four had a wonderful time at A Place at the Beach, and in this unit in particular. The unit is in the perfect location - first floor, close to parking lot, stairs, indoor and outdoor pools, and just a short walk to the beach. The unit was clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with all utensils and plenty of dish towels and dish cloths. Beds were very comfortable; a/c worked well. Plenty of bath towels and wash cloths were provided as well as a starter supply of paper goods and detergents. You don't need to bring much more than your bathing suit, beach towels and a couple of outfits as there is a washer/dryer in unit and the Food Lion grocery store is a mile down the road and open 24 hours. You may also want to bring beach chairs as the unit does not have any; however, they can be rented at the small store on the property. The owners were great to work with - very responsive to any questions we had. The complex is great ... well maintained and plenty for all to do. We look forward to staying here again!Recommended for: Families with teenagers.

About the owner: We are a family of four who have been vacationing in this resort for several years. We bought this unit in 2011 with the intent of using it for our family and renting it to others as well. We take pride in keeping the condo clean and inviting for our family and our guests!
Why the Owner Chose Atlantic Beach:
We love the amenities on site, as well as the local attractions. There are so many good restaurants and shops nearby and so much to do for the whole family. When it is rainy or too cool to swim outdoors, we frequent the indoor heated pool and hot tub. We plan to do more fishing this year, both from the beach and with local fishing charters. All of us enjoy the aquarium, which is only about 15-20 minutes away.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
All four of us enjoy the water slide, which is one of the main attractions of the resort. When we aren't enjoying the pool or beach, we enjoy playing miniature golf or table tennis.
