About the owner: We are part of a large family that has enjoyed this cottage on Paw Paw Lake for over five generations.
Why the Owner Chose Watervliet: Our great-grandfather chose this spot because it is a beautiful place to live - with a stunning view of the lake and gorgeous sunsets that I imagine are the same today as they were 100 years ago. Paw Paw Lake is convenient to many locations: Chicago, Valparaiso, South Bend, Kalamazoo, Detroit to name a few. In addition to relaxing by the lake, there is so much to do on the lake and in the surrounding towns, that people come back year after year.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage: We love to have coffee on the porch in the morning, and watch the lake. Some of us are always cooking for a crowd. Others are watching the kids play. Others are off for a run, tennis, golf or kayaking. We love the sunsets. We love the local movie theaters. We love the weekly $1.00 hamburger nights at the local Board of Trade restaurant or pizza at our favorite Di Maggio's.
