This is the second property I worked with Felipe in renting. He once again went above expectations. This property is truly amazing. As with all properties I have rented from Felipe, this one is also modern, renovated, and very clean. I cannot emphasize enough how well maintained and clean the properties are that I have rented from Felipe and that is an absolutely priority for me. There are many benefits of this property including that it is two levels of living space. The main floor has an open living room with couches, a TV, and fully stocked bookcase. It is adjacent to the kitchen which is very new. One highlight of the kitchen is that it has a water filter which is an amazing perk in Brazil. It saves you many trips to Zona Sul buying bottled water. Outside from the living room and kitchen is the terrace which provides an unbelievable view of the Christ the Redeemer Statue. At night, when it lights up, you are in for a special treat. The main floor also has a very nice bedroom with plenty of closet space and a bathroom. As you make your way up one more level, there is the master bedroom with on suite bathroom. While you're lying in bed, you can also see the statue. The master has another TV and there is a built in closet by the bathroom. This property is in a great location on a quiet residential street. It is only about two blocks from the main road in Ipanema where you can find all the stores and restaurants that you need. It is also close to Leblon if you are looking to go out. You cannot go wrong working with Felipe. He is an absolutely amazing resource. He speaks English very well, he is very easy to work with, and both properties of his that I have stayed at were exactly as he described. Felipe will also help guide you with regard to getting around to different areas and locations that you are looking for such as restaurants, the beach, or night life. This penthouse was amazing. Great views from the balcony and bedroom. The furnishings are also great and to the highest standard. Felipe was a true gentleman to deal with and took the time to show me around the first day I go there. This apartment is fantastic, comfortable, greatly furnished, awesome view of the Christ from the spacious balcony, very well located – close to amenities, restaurants, bars and the beach. Its street is very leafy and we felt safe at all times. We travelled on a party of 3 with at 5 years old child and I have to admit we were quite apprehensive regarding safety in Rio before we got there. Our stay was wonderful though and Felipe’s help and advice were first class! We were picked up from the airport and dropped off straight to the apartment without fuss or stress with their recommended driver. Felipe was waiting there for us to show us around, explain how keys and locks worked out, run through maps provided by them listing nearby attractions and Felipe even walked me to the ATM personally, as I hadn’t had a chance to withdraw Brazilian currency beforehand.
