Great house on a canal in a friendly, deed restricted neighborhood! Watch the wildlife right from the livingroom. Many birds like to visit the small canal in the backyard as well as turtles and the occasional alligator. Sliding glass doors open to the backyard from the lanai, living room and master bedroom. Master bedroom features a queen size bed with a TV and DVD player, connecting master bath has a large walk in shower. The second bedroom has two twin beds and the second bathroom includes a bathtub. Beautiful Gulf beaches are a quick 20 minutes away. Rental includes access to the clubhouse which offers a heated pool, kiddie pool, tennis courts, basketball courts, shuffleboard, playground, a small workout room and a function room which hosts many regular and special events. The area offers many fun things to do such as shopping, walking along the Peace River and dining out. Historic downtown Punta Gorda is only a few minutes away as well as Fisherman's Village which boasts many shops and restaurants right on the water! For the nature lovers there are many nature trails in the area where lots of local wildlife can be seen including alligators, bald eagles, osprey, wild pigs, armadillos, bobcats and many more! One of the local beaches is famous for its abundant shark's teeth. Simply stroll along this beach to find fossilized shark's teeth that are millions of years old! Pets are allowed with owner's permission.

About the owner: I am a teacher and love to swim and hike with my dog. I get down to the house when I can and simply love spending time there! My favortie things to do when I am there are walk a nature trail, look for shark's teeth on the beach and soak up the sun!
Why the Owner Chose Port Charlotte:
My mother bought this house about 10 years ago and lived there for 6. She loved the area and the neighborhood. This property is close to route 41 which has just about anything you could ever want on it. Tons of stores and restaurants are just a few minutes away. The beach is not too far away and the neighborhood itself is quiet and freindly. It is only about 40 minutes away from the Fort Myers airport and about an hour away from the Sarasota airport.
