We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very clean, the king-size bed was .comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked, and the hot tub was awesome. The location is also convenient to Gatlinburg. And finally, the host and hostess are most gracious and accomodating.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway.

Accommodations were excellent! Everything was clean and very comfortable. The cabin was located in an excellent location in the mountains and was really easy to access. It's location made it easy to get to downtown Gatlinburg, The Smokey Mountains and Ober!! It's also just a few miles away from the many nice restaurants in Gatlinburg.. I would highly recommend staying here!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway.
Owner response: Thank You! We take great pride in providing a positive experience to our guest. We look forward to having you again in the future. Starlet & Darrell

Upon reading the reviews, I was skeptical to book this property but at $100+ less than any other property, my bank account prevailed. To briefly address the negatives that were my hang ups. No, this isn't a "log cabin". Yes, it is right next to the owners property. They didn't bother us. In fact, we never even saw them. There were no junky eye sores to look at. No trailer. Just a boat. And their cars. It is small. The bathroom is really small. But we were there to vacation, not hang out in the bathroom. The cabin decor is adorable. All wood paneled walls and an awesome log bed. The hot tub was hot when we arrived. There was nothing weird in it nor did it smell. Everything was super clean. With all that said, for a quick and budget friendly stay, would I stay here again? Probably. If a secluded cabin is what you are looking for, this isn't the property for you and you will be disappointed. If you need something that is good for the price, you will be happy. We certainly were.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.

I brought my fiance to the honeysuckle suite for the weekend of his birthday. We pulled up and were unsure because it didnt look like the traditional cabin. Everything was decorated for the fall and it looked precious! Still unsure we walked inside... it was PERFECT!! The place was decorated perfectly!! It was so homey and just a great getaway for my fiance and I!! It is decorated just like a cabin on the inside and the porch was perfect with the HOT hot tub haha. It was just a great weekend! It was close to Gatlinburg but still far enough away for some peace and quite and great scenery!! We fully plan on coming back! The place was spotless (super clean) and the appliances were great! The tv in the bedroom was so convenient as well. I fully recommend couples to this place! We can't wait to come back!! Thanks a bunch!! Emily and TreyDid you find this review helpful? I have to say that this place is extremely tiny, but it was fine for the two of us, especially since we were spending most of our time out. One good thing about this place was it was quite close to Gatlinburg. Before booking I was wondering why they didn't have a picture of the outside of the place and that’s because it is not at all a cabin as they would have you think and it was reveal just how small it is. From living room through kitchen to the bedroom is only ten feet (walking normally). None the less, the inside was very homely and nicely setup. There was no washing machine as listed. The weird thing is when you pull up, its right beside the owners place (about 15 feet away). It looks pretty messy because of the old boat, truck, and trash in the yard. The main reason I will not be returning to this place is because we weren’t able to use the hot tub the first night because it took 6 hours to heat up. Since we were only staying there two nights, that’s a huge issue for me. This is definitely something that I've never had to wait for at any other place in Gatlinburg. I completely understand wanting to save electricity, but when you have people staying, you want to make them as comfortable as possible. We shouldn't have to wait for something like that. It also needs a good cleaning. It was pretty disgusting with lots of weird floating strings and bugs. There were also quite a few bugs inside. It was quiet and peaceful there though and the owners seemed rather nice over the phone.Recommended for: Romantic getaway.
Owner response: We appreciate your review. Our cabin exactly as we present it. We don't claim to be an elaborate cabin in the mountains and that is why we are able to offer such affordable prices to our guest. We are making changes everyday to offer more for the money. We do offer washer and drier on property and will soon have one in the cabin, another improvement with time. The hot tub was not hot upon arrival because we change the water after EVERY check out so understandably upon your arrival the water was in fact cold. It was on and heating when you arrived, we make sure of that. The bug issue is the lady bugs that visit our area this time every year. You will find them in EVERY cabin in this area, most cabins even post notices about them in the cabins. I personally clean our cabins and go above and beyond to assure a clean and pleasant environment. We are staying on property while renovating the other two cabins that is at the same location as Honeysuckle Suite. As far as the proximity of the cabins to each other, you will find that most of the cabins in this area are near or right on top of each other. We don't falsely advertise our cabins and we don't over charge. We proudly present it for what it is. A cute, cozy cabin in the smokies that is close to the downtown area. Sorry you are not happy with your experience with us. We understand we can't please everyone but that doesn't mean we won't continue moving forward trying to please the next guest. And again you are part of a very small group of unsatisfied guest. We have had so many guest in our two years here and many have returned for a second and third visit. We have had an estimate of around 136 check in the past year and half and only and handful of unhappy guest, so we must be doing something right. Again we sorry you are not a part the group of our satisfied guest. Starlet

we are locals who like to take a break on occasions!! my husband and i stayed here for my birthday in 2011 and had an amazing time!!! the owners were great and made us feel like family!! we already have plans to return this thanksgiving and cant wait!! the cabin was very clean and so was the hot tub. the bathroom was very small but my husband is 6'3 and had no problem using the shower or anything else. the owners even brought me homemade fudge with a note that said happy birthday, i just thought that was very sweet. the owners are still trying to redo and remodel one of the cabins and add a game room and other things they are putting all they've got into this property and they are doing all the work them selfs. i will never stay anywhere else, i absolutely loved my stay. i would recommend this property to anyone.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Upon arrival I thought we were at the wrong place. We actually backed out of the driveway and called the owner. We were in the right place! There was a car, old truck, trailer and basketball goal there so we thought it was someone's private home. It is the owners residence right next door. Luckily they were gone for the entire weekend or it would have been awkward. The outside looks anything but a cabin, but the inside had a very smoky mountain feel to it with all the "bear touches" from the light fixtures to the bedding. It was very clean and functional. The bathroom is EXTERMELY small and we only used the hot tub once b/c it took so long to heat up. No washer or dryer in the cabin which was disappointing. Also lots of road noise and not much of a view. Probably would not return.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2010
About the owner: Hi my name is Stalet, my husband Darrell and I are originally from Louisiana and have lived here since 2010. We decided to move to Gatlinburg after our first visit here. We enjoy all that the Smoky Mountains has to offer to our family. Our children Darah, DJ, and Bailey are pleased to call Gatlinburg home. It has been a blessing to our family to live here and we love it so muc that we decided to share our experience with everyone. That is why we chose to invest in cabin rentals. We want everyone to enjoy what we have been so blessed with.
Why the Owner Chose Other Gatlinburg Properties:
We chose the property we have because of the location. We are near all that the Smokies has to offer. We are walking distance to the Greenbriar entrance to the National Forest that offers trout fishing, swimming, hiking, biking, and waterfalls. We enjoy the outdoors and wanted to be right in the middle of it all, and we are. Our cabins have easy access, no 4wd needed. We are only 10 minutes from all of the attractions in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.
