The Hillcrest at Linville Ridge is one of our five star homes that we now offer for your perfect winter or summer vacation. This 5500 sf home offer 5 bedrooms, 61/2 baths, and it sleeps up to 12 in total comfort and style. This estate has breathtaking layered, long range views with total privacy, gently sloping land, and loads of amenities. Play golf on the highest elevation course east of the Mississippi River; enjoy spectacular dining indoors or out; play tennis or croquet on one of eight Har-Tru® tennis courts or regulation-sized croquet court, swim in the heated mountainside pool; send the kids out to make lifetime friends with others or with nature at the youth center, day camp and playground; or indulge in the wonderful salon and day spa services *.
In winter, even though you won’t want to leave the comfort of this home, it is located within 10 minutes of Sugar Mountain skiing and Jonas Ridge snow tubing and close to Linville Falls, Grandfather Mountain, and Linville Caverns. If you just want to stay in and spend some quality family time, this home has 2 wood burning fireplaces, large screen TV’s, family games and foosball among all of its other lovely features.
This house is located close to the LR Club, Golf Course, Dining and Pro Shop with temporary membership and/or golf privileges available for stays of one week or longer. This home features an incredible gourmet kitchen with stainless appliances, granite countertops, custom cabinetry and large center island bar. The adjoining dining area and great room allows the cook to have lots of company or if wanted, then we can have your own private chef come in to prepare and serve your evening meal.
The living room, with 30 ft cathedral ceilings incredible views, roaring stone fireplace, big screen TV and gorgeous furniture is perfect for the full family gathering but if the kids want a space of their own, the downstairs playroom with even larger TV and game system.
The master-on-main has a stunning view, beautiful linens, and king bed. The spacious bath has a walk-in shower and a whirlpool tub to lounge in comfort while relaxing those ski muscles. The other bedrooms are all comfortable, beautifully appointed and interesting with the Scottish room, additional master, and the most enviable little girl’s room for the princess in your family.
The beautifully landscaped grounds have spacious lawns and flat land, with hammock and tire swing. The outside includes open and covered decks, a private/wooded setting and a flat front yard that backs up to the 17th fairway. The back deck features covered living area with deep cushioned comfort furniture and a large gas grill. This is the perfect mountain getaway for 2 or the entire family! The home offer wireless internet service, fax machine in the office, a large HOT TUB sitting on the deck with the great view.

Hillcrest at Linville Ridge has paved access all the way to the driveway.
Depending on the home, Blue Ridge Vacation Cabins recommends 4WD, chains or sometimes both when visiting the mountains in winter. We are happy to help you find the home with the winter access you are most comfortable with.

As for the location it was excellent. We loved having a bathroom for each bedroom which made life so much easier. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment dishes and glassware which made things run very smoothly. We did not get to enjoy the outside furniture and grill as it rained so much last week. We were overwhelmed by this property! Every room told its own story, was very comfortable and clean. To sit in the living room was like being at home so comfy and the kitchen was very well appointed. also having 2 washing machines and dryers in the house a big bonus. My family and I came up for a wedding, but decided to stay longer to enjoy, what we've heard of as the cool mountain air, coming from Florida, the temperature change was refreshing. What a treat this home was. My husband and oldest son decided golf was on their list for the week, and took advantage of the temporary membership the community offers. While, the rest of us shopped, hiked, ate, and relaxed. We couldn't have asked for a more breathtaking view either! We spent the nights in the hot tub just mesmerized. We have stayed in a number of properties--none as nice and relaxing as Hillcrest. The decor is excellent and the views are incredible--golf is all around you. It is also perfect for large families--separate bedrooms for kids on lower floor and master suite upstairs.
