  My family stayed here for Easter weekend. What a beautiful Costa Rican home! The views are phenomenal! This was our 5th trip to Costa Rica - Dominical is our favorite part of the country. It's where the mountains of the jungle meet the sea - the closest thing to heaven this side of paradise! We were woken up daily by the howler monkeys. Is there any better way to wake up? We've rented other homes in the Dominical area. What makes this home above the others (beside the spectacular views) is the caretaker Carole. What a joy she is! She was so kind to our 10 year old daughter. Carole let her play with her dogs and gave her a big bag of seashells before we left. Plus she made sure we had eggs, fresh bread and fruit every day for breakfast. What a treat!!! We would DEFINITELY rent this home again.

  What a wonderful place to stay! My family and I spent a week there over Spring Break. The home is beautiful and has all the bells and whistles you would want. The property is 100% Costa Rican, with lush foliage. Carole, the property manager, is not only a plethora of information, her hospitality makes you feel at home in a foreign country. The road to the property is steep and a little rough in places. Might opt for a 4-wheel drive if going during the rainy season.

  This is a beautiful house with a gorgeous view in the heart of a jungle. The propery manager, Carol, was very helpful from the the moment we arrived, answering our questions, providing us with information about the area, and offering us eggs and delicious homemade bread for our breakfast. The property is about a 10 minute drive up a somewhat steep hill which puts you in the midst of nature. When going for a walk, we saw a troup of howler monkeys as well as 2 pair of toucans talking to each other from nearby trees. We were able to pick bananas from trees on the property and Carol treated us to homemade banana bread. We went on several nice excursions in the area - some organized through a tour group in Uvita (a nearby town) and some on our own exploring. We found a great nearby waterfall (we drove to it in 20 minutes from the house and walked in down a short trail (two minutes.) It was uncrowded, beautiful, refreshing on a hot day and free. We swam in the pool below the falls and watched locals jump in from the rope swing as a howler monkeys crossed the forested canopy above. Amazing! Beaches are within a short drive as well. The house was comfortable, clean, and beautiful. We cooked most of our meals and found everything we needed in the well-stocked kitchen. We especially enjoyed the huge decks on two levels of the house, relaxing as we enjoyed the spectacular sunsets listening to great music. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would enthusiastically recommend this property to friends and family.

  My girlfriend and I stayed at this property for 10 days over Christmas and New Year’s. The house itself was wonderful; lots of space, well-furnished, and even better looking than in the photos. There is an expansive view of the ocean and the countryside from the deck. The best part is the two walls of windows on the view side of the house open up to expand the living room out to the deck. Carole was wonderful; she baked us bread, stopped by to clean up the house occasionally, and was very accommodating. Carole was always present when we needed something, but she never stopped by unannounced. The location of the house is near both Dominical and Uveta. It’s about 10 minutes up a steep dirt road, but the view and seclusion are well worth it. We would definitely stay here again.

  Perfect place to relax after a long day at the beach. The house has all of the amenities you need while traveling. All of the rooms are spacious, and the decks are huge. Very modern and comfortable. You need a 4X4 to get to it, but it is 10 minutes away from Dominical. There is an awesome bar/restaurant right down the road.

  Tranquility, relaxation and communion with nature awaits you in this charming house in Costa Rica. Spending time on the deck watching the ever changing weather patterns, ocean view, Tucons and wild life were part of my daily meditation. The house is comfortable and charming. Dominical, the surfing village just down the road is perfect for good dining and strolling. I will definitely return to this place of paradise.

  I stayed in this house for several days in early march. The house is very well built, with a lovely deck on both floors, affording amazing views of the coast and Pacific ocean. The downstairs bathroom (adjacent to master bedroom) does get stagnant air (sulfur smell) if you don't prop open the window, but otherwise the place is very comfortable. Full kitchen, wireless internet, dining area and living room with Plasma TV make it above average by Costa Rica standards. Be warned, the road up from the highway is STEEP and BUMPY. I wouldn't even consider trying it without a 4x4 vehicle. The house is not far from both Uvita and Dominical but do add about 10minutes travel time just to get up/down the hill. Surf in the area is amazing. Overall, I'd stay again.
