  Hi...my girlfriend and i just got back from our vacation, we had a great time...the studio apartment was perfect for us and you can't beat the price. I would definitely use it again. The views are amazing and the apartment itself is perfect for a couple, even with the bed down there is still a lot of room. We didn't stay in the apartment that much because of the area its located in, you have so much to do. The beach was right in the back of the building so we spent most of our time there. This is my 3rd time being in Puerto Rico and first time in Isla Verde. I wish i would have know about this place sooner because it was exactly what i was looking for. We went during a slow period so the beach was empty and so were most places to eat. EL Alambique was excellent, food was at a great price and very good. The airport was only 10 mins away at a cost of $14 by cab. A cab to old San Juan was $21 i suggest going in the late afternoon because the sun is brutal. So overall i would give a thumbs up to the apartment and the owner was Evelyn was a pleasure...

  Evelyn is great about making arrangements and ensuring everything is in order. The condo is only 5 minutes from the airport. The bus stop is right out front so transportation is cheap and easy. You have a view of the ocean on one side and a view of the city on the other. The sounds of the city do intrude on tbe peacefulness of the ocean a bit but for the price and location you can't beat it. Once you walk around the corner of the building onto the beach, the city disappears. The beach is beautiful and there are multiple clubs, bars and restaurants. Find the Pastry shop mentioned in the other reviews. It is amazing.

  This condo was the perfect place for us to stay during our first trip to Puerto Rico! The view off of the balcony is spectacular, and makes for the perfect scene to wake up to. You are literally right on the beach. The condo itself is very clean and cozy- about the same size as a typical hotel room. Having a kitchen comes in handy, and helps to save some money instead of going out for every meal. Isla Verde beach is wonderful...white sand, turquiose water, and only crowded on the weekends. There is a fantastic bar next door where you can enjoy a cocktail by tiki torch while laying on a bed in the sand! :) There are plenty of other restaurants and bars along Isla Verde Ave. as well. You are right down the block from some large hotels (El San Juan and the Intercontinental), where there is a lot to do including restaurants, bars and a casino. I would highly recommend staying here if you want to be close to the ocean! No complaints here!!

  We loved our stay and the photos of the view from the balcony do not give it justice. The view is even better! :) The location is great...just close enough to walk to everywhere you want to be and just far enough away for the peace for which you may be looking. The condo is very clean, quiet and Evelyn was wonderful. She was easy to get in touch with and even called us during our stay to ensure all was well.

  My boyfriend and I recently returned from much needed vacation in Pueto Rico. Due to the San Sebastian festival all of the hotels in the San Juan area were already booked so I looked on the VRBO website and found this studio condo in Isla Verde. The condo itself was clean, comfortable and right on the beach with a beautiful view off of the balcony. It was also located in close proximity to one of my favorite bakeries in San Juan, Espana. There is a bus stop a few steps away but cabs were constantly driving by so getting around was easy since we did not have a car this time. There is a Walgeens a few blocks away as well as several restaurants and small bars. The Beach House next door is a great place to get a beverage while laying on the beach. The owner Evelyn was extremely helpful in the booking process. She was always available to answer any questions and even phoned before I left to wish me a safe trip. I would certainly stay at this property again in the future

  Palma Verde was perfect for our long weekend getaway! Isla Verde is only 10 minutes from the airport, but it has beautiful beaches and is close to many good bars and restaurants. Old San Juan is reasonably accessible via bus and car rental is easy just down the street at Allied if you want to go to the rainforest. The owner of Palma Verde made sure we had a wonderful time and even checked in with us once we got there. This is very highly recommended!

  This place was divine! Been working hard for three years and had not returned to Puerto Rico in four years since finishing a four year grad program in Puerto Rico. Evelyn Called me before and during my trip to share her secret hideouts and local hotspots. There were too many that I need to go back and explore them all. The condo is perfect. You have this great view of the ocean. You can walk around at night alone and feel safe. You are centrally located in the heart of Isla Verde. Thank you, Evelyn for sharing this pearl of a spot!

  We just got back from spending a wonderful 5 days in Evelyn's condo in Isla Verde , San Juan. We enjoyed our time in the condo thoroughly and it felt like staying in our own home. The condo is small but has everything and more everyone will ever need . The best part of the condo is waking up every morning and having an amazing view of the ocean. The beach is literally on your doorstep and the condo is within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Evelyn is more than a landlord and was so helpful during our stay recommending places to go, see and eat at. It was like having our own personal concierge just a phone call away. Thanks Evelyn. We love your condo and will return again soon

  I felt like at home at all times, the sea view, the strip of Isla Verde ... something to remember forever. Good food, oh! the beach its unparalleled. The owner is a wonderful person, an angel, a good host and somebody you can trust. The place and the surroundings were perfect for us!

  Excellent location with friendly and helpful personnel anywhere we traveled . Lots to do within walking distance. Restraunts of every type, must try local cuisine. The condo was well stocked with everything you would need and very clean. Great ocean view from balcony . Sunrise beautiful in the mornings. Evelyn was always available by phone,text or e-mail to help with great recommendations. Public transportation right out front of condo for easy and affordable travel to San Juan. Rented car one day to travel to National Rain Forest which is a must see. Would stay again if traveling to Puerto Rico.

  The apartment is ideally located, convenient to tours, walking attractions,rental cars as well as places to eat and mingle.You could cross the street for tacos and beer or for more refined dining, the Intercontinental Hotel was down the street where you could dine or casino. There were several nightclubs, the Vibe etc. less than a block away.The building staff is informative and friendly. The apartment is clean, efficient and cozy enough to be romantic for two or just comfortable enought for two friends. It was stocked with all the necessities for cooking, beach etc. The beach is easily assessible and beautiful. The owner was flexible, courteous and very helpful in planning our stay and making sure that everything went smoothly. I would stay again without hesitation and would recommend this property also for travelers male and female who are staying/traveling alone as I found it very safe and quiet. Its a wonderful deal for the price.

  Stayed 4 nights to attend my friend's wedding and the groups ended up being scattered all along the length of Isla Verde Avenue. Evelyn's condo was perfectly placed between our groups and located near the only 24-hour Walgreens in the area. Great location! Easy to find. True to her word, the condo really is right on the beach (accessible by private, locked gate) and what a beach it is! Condo is well decorated, very clean, well-stocked, and efficient yet comfortable. I actually had plenty of space to move around all weekend without storing away the Murphy bed. Restaurants and bars are very close by. El San Juan and ESJ Towers is a short walk from El Girasol (the condo). The balcony. Friends, the photo above doesn't do the view justice. You'll be 7 stories up with a clear view down the full length of the beach on your left and a view of the cityscape, highway, and mountains to your left. You will enjoy this condo and all it has to offer. Evelyn also checked in with me (called) just after my expected arrival time to make sure I had gotten in without trouble. Will definitely be coming back.

  A little bit of paradise is what we experienced while staying in this cozy studio! Truly we were on the best beach in Puerto Rico...and the best part of that beach. The studio is very comfortable...clean...and well-stocked with everything we needed. Everyone in the building was very helpful, and we were within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. The balcony is small but offers an amazing view, and hearing the surf at night just lulled us to sleep. Evelyn was always available by phone or email and was happy to offer suggestions whenever we asked.

  Our studio apartment was absolutely perfect for what we were looking for. On the 7th floor, we had an excellent view of the water and we spent many enjoyable hours on the balcony. The apartment was furnished with everything that we needed and more. The cupboards were outfitted with everything from spices, linens, many towels, comfy robes and much more. Although Isla Verde is a bit of a distance form Old San Juan, there are many restaurants and stores in the immediate area. The owner was very easy to work with and for the money, this little apartment lived up to its description.
