Come enjoy this peaceful, lake retreat just 6 miles from the town of Seneca and a short 16 miles from Clemson University.
218 Petty Road is a comfortable, yet elegant, lake home with all of the amenities. A level lot openly welcomes even the most discriminating. Perfect for the small and large family. The 5 bedroom/3.5 bath comfortably accommodates 8-12 people. The cozy front porch is perfect for rocking and watching the kids enjoy a game of horseshoes or basketball. A large driveway is perfect for skates or scooters!
The main floor boasts an open floor plan with a comfortable living room perfect for watching movies on a 50” flat screen TV. A separate office area offers wireless internet for those who like to “stay in touch”. The kitchen is completely stocked and open to the dining area and great room. Floor to ceiling windows offer a breathless view of the lake beyond. A sizeable master suite(TV included) is located off of the kitchen with plenty of windows for those wishing to soak in the breathtaking lake views. A full bath and two additional bedrooms are located down the hall, one offering a queen with TV and the second offering two queens.
The kitchen further leads to a screened in porch complete with ceiling fans. Tables are provided to enjoy scrumptious meals or late night laughs. Most important, the lake is only a few steps away, perfect for watching the older kids as they head to the lake for some fishing. The hammock is just what the doctor ordered for the relaxing nightly read or late afternoon nap! Wide water views are guaranteed to awe.
Downstairs is the perfect getaway for children and teenagers. A den area includes sofas, TV with DVD player, foozball, table for games, and two bedrooms, each with two twin beds. One full and one half, “jack and jill style”, provides plenty of space. A garage offers a ping pong table for those competitive late night tournaments. Exit to the outside to enjoy a patio complete with outside bar area and seating, perfect for those desiring some shade!
The backyard is sizeable and easily accessed from either the screened porch or downstairs. The best kept secret is that it is level and completely fenced with locks to protect busy children. The calm, peaceful water is only 5 steps away!
A boat dock provides both sun and shade. No one can resist the “two seater” swing. The spectacular views of the big water are magnificent. An unbelievable spot for fishing, swimming, and let us not forget, floating. A boat slip with lift and jet ski landing are to one side. A shared sandy beach area is perfect for young toddlers with a gentle slope into deeper water.
