  This house is BEAUTIFUL!!! It is very clean and very spacious. We loved the balcony in the front with the tables and chairs and also the balcony outside the master bedroom with table and chairs. It is a short walk to the beach or you can rent the golf cart (which is what we did). The golf cart made going to the beach much easier. Nancy was so sweet and was willing to help with any questions or concerns. She made renting this house so easy and relaxing for us. We loved the HUGE built in picnic table downstairs. The house has everything you could possibly need for your trip except beach towels. I would recommend this house to everyone. We are already planning a trip to go back.

  We all had a great time including our four legged "kids". House is as described with a very nice large kitchen. The photos of the house and property are accurate too. The neighborhood is quiet and kept clean. The large lot was a nice plus. We also enjoyed the restaurant at the Galveston Country Club. Not a golfer, but the course looked very nice. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Galveston.

  My Family and I rented this house for Spring Break and it was Great. The house was very nice and clean as pictured. This was our first time renting and Nancy was very helpful with any questions we had. The kids had plenty of space to play and the dogs loved the patios. We would rent this house again and recommend it to our friends and family.

  We rented this house for a weekend and really enjoyed our stay. It's walking distance to the beach and a five minute drive to a small grocery store in case you forget anything. There's a lot of outdoor space downstairs and on the decks to hang out. It's an open concept living area so the kitchen is central to the living room and dining rooms. The entire house was very clean and up to date. Renting with Nancy was great, she was very quick with responses to all of our questions and was very helpful throughout the whole process. We're already planning another trip!

  Everything is beautiful, spacious, and in a quite neighborhood. Housekeeping need to do a better job with the bed linen...all sheet on the bed were dirty and does not as thought the previous tenants took the linen off before leaving. Great location and look forward to my next trip and stay! Thanks .........

  We were absolutley thrilled to pull into "our" driveway! From the front steps to the door all the way into the master bedroom closet and private balcony! This house was spot on ! Everything was so fresh and clean when we walked in. We arrived with 6 adults and 2 children ( 7 & 10) and had plenty of room for us and more. I really enjoyed the living room and how open it was...especially because we all like to relax in front of the tv late at night. Another BIG perk was the kitchen: plenty of room for cooking and even more room for our family card game! So much space to move around while some were eating, cooking, standing around ( everyone tends to congregate in the kitchen). You cannot go wrong with this property, as you are literally a block away from the beach w/o the beach front prices! We are already planning our next stay here!   The house is fantastic. It had everything we needed and more! We had a lot of rain during our stay so we spent more time than usual inside. The house is so comfortable and relaxing. It definitely feels like a home as opposed to a rental. The very short walk or ride to the beach is definitely worth the savings in the rental fees compared to other houses in the neighborhood. The beach is never crowded which is so nice when you have kids. The owner is super helpful. We will definitely be back next year.

  This house is fantastic! It is very comfortable, well maintained and well equipped! Nice layout inside as well as the decks outside.The owners are very responsive and good to work with. It is a nice, short walk to the beach and plenty of beach toys are provided (sand toys plus boards). Highly recommended.

  We vacationed for a week at this beautiful home! There were 6 of us (myself, my husband, our 2 year old, my mother, my brother and his 4 year old). The house was more than enough room for all of us! In fact, I think we could have slept many more people very easily. This home is very spacious and clean. My favorite thing about the house was the master suite - such a relaxing oasis! The decks offered great spots for relaxation. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you may need. Also, anything and everything you could need for a trip to the beach was there as well. Chairs, ice chest, boogie boards, sand toys, you name it! Because of the two little ones, we always jumped in the car to go to the beach (about a 30 second drive). But it would be a pretty short walk as well. The owner provided amazing customer service from my initial inquiry through my return from our vacation. I would recommend this property with no reservations! We cannot wait to go back!!

  Nancy, we loved staying in your home and we appreciate all the info and help you gave us in such a timely manner. This is the 3rd summer in a row we've rented a VRBO home at Pirate's Beach and we loved your home! As was stated in other reviews, it was very clean and comfy with nice furnishings, not your average beach home. The huge kitchen table allowed us to put together a big puzzle on one end and eat at the other. Your home was farther away from the beach than the others we'd rented, but we didn't care one bit. The excellent price allowed us to rent a golf cart to take to the beach and we've always wanted to do that and will do it again since we still saved over other rentals even w/the cart. We relaxed so much this year that we hated to leave! By the way - our 10 yr old loves to fish and Jimmy's Pier (on the seawall) rented us everything we needed, was very clean and had a great staff. We caught lots of fun fish and met incredibly nice families there doing the same thing, then we ate lunch up in their restaurant. We're hoping to come back this fall for a weekend with our airedale terrier to see how he likes the beach. We hope you'll allow us to stay in your beautiful home again. Thank you so much!

  A great beach house! The home is very well kept and very clean. The house was great for our family vacation with two little ones. Short walk to the beach, and the beach was not busy at all, almost like we had our own private beach! The pool at the Galveston Country Club was beautiful, even had a kiddie pool in the shade for the little ones! We will definitely use this rental again if we are ever in the Galveston area. The owner provided great customer service. The list of things to do when leaving was very small made it seem like we were staying in a hotel rather than someone's home. Thanks so much!

  Nancy; Thank you so very much for everything you did to make this past week happen. Sam fishes a lot and I don't always get to go with him. Last week was a much needed vacation for me. I drove us home and truly was sad to leave. Your home is wonderful and thanks again.

  Our group was very pleased with the property....just wish it was alittle closer to the beach...yet the neighborhood is great....everything was blooming and beautiful...even had a couple of ducks 'waddle' around the yard for awhile! This place is very comfortable and very attractively decorated....good quality and the upstairs Master and bath is AWESOME....the large, open area underneath the house is great for a Large group to grill out if you want...we didn;t have time but would recomment it and also the large deck out front was a wonderful place to feel the gulf breezes and listen to the wind in the palm trees ....You will not be disappointed staying here.

  My family and I wanted a close and quick getaway for Spring Break to take the kids and our 8 month old, 146 lb Saint Bernard puppy. We had a wonderful time and only left the area for an evening meal out at Gaido's (meal not impressive). I think you are missing out if you are away too much - for it is so relaxing and entraining just to stay and enjoy the surroundings. What a fantastic home! Very open and bright. The location is desirable and close enough to the beach for a nice walk with lovely neighbors. Always an ocean breeze on the balconies while enjoying morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. The home is equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay to include extra blankets, pillows, and all kitchen amenities. Exciting and broad movie collection along with good reads! Even a charcoal grill and beach toys for the family! The home was immaculate (we are all ocd clean freaks) which is not always typical of a rental that allows animals. The owners were attentive from the start to end making sure our stay was enjoyable. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice outlet on Pirates Beach without going broke! Also close enough to all attractions! We are looking for a weekend to go back and this home will be our first choice!

  What a BEAUTIFUL house. My husband and I, along with our 2 grandsons, visited Galveston and had a wonderful, relaxing weekend at this GREAT beach house. It was immaculate, well maintained, and very nicely furnished. The beach is a nice short walk. I would definitely recommend this house. We look forward to going back! Thanks!
