The house is so large that it is difficult to say how many bedrooms there are. For example the office can be a bedroom, as can many other rooms not originally designed for that purpose.

The $200 daily rate is adequate for "nuclear" families--parents and children. It is $300 for "extended" families. And the rate for a large group for the entire house is $500 per night. The main--and extraordinary part of the house--has its own entrance.

Avenida Caseros off the park is the 'trendiest' old (new) neighborhood in Buenos Aires--much more interesting in all ways from 'upscale' enclaves like Palermo and Recoletta. (Better bars, better shopping, better restaurants--simply more fun--at least for younger people.
And Peru 1573 is the only surviving house (that I know of) in original condition--and is a Casco Historico (Landmarked Building).
And the old service quarters--the most comfortable part of the house in the summer can be had for a fraction of the price of the entire house and has 2 private terraces and an open-air kitchen.

The Unique Benefits at this House: San Telmo ('Saint Pedro González Telmo') is the oldest barrio (neighborhood) of Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is a well-preserved area of the Argentine metropolis and is characterized by its colonial buildings. Cafes, tango parlors and antique shops line the cobblestone streets, which are often filled with artists and dancers.
