The Bay of Fundy Old School House by the Shore is a large all-season four bedroom beach house overlooking the bay and Cape Split, built in the mid 1800s with huge principal rooms, fully equipped chef’s kitchen and extraordinary views on all sides. The house is located on a quiet beach road, a 15 minute walk to the wide beach which continues for 20 kilometres.

Now a spacious and tastefully appointed year-round rental home, the house has an expansive Great Room with fully equipped chef's kitchen with stainless steel appliances, comfortable living room, 4 large bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The house can easily accommodate families and groups of 10 including children.

The house was completely restored and renovated in 2004, supervised by a Canadian architect recently featured in Canadian Architect magazine, and offers 3500 square feet of comfortably furnished living space on two floors. The cottage is furnished with classic modern furniture and antiques. Set apart in an open landscape of wild blueberry fields, next to the banks of the Bay of Fundy on the Atlantic Ocean and the Fox River, the house offers wide beaches and spectacular views of Cape Split and the North Mountains of the Annapolis Valley.

The Great Room includes a fully-equipped Chef's Kitchen, with wide 13 foot long marble countered island with luxury stainless steel with dishwasher, micro-wave. The Great Room also is a comfortable family room with comfortable sofas and chairs. Open the door and walk out to a 20 by 10 foot deck, perfect for taking in the air and views of the ocean and the village at your doorstep.

The separate living room and dining room has a long refectory dining table for large family gatherings as well as comfortable upholstered sofas and chairs. The living room has views on three sides overlooking the ocean, river and village.

The house has 3 extremely large bedrooms with comfortable queen sized beds and seating, offering a welcome private retreat. A fourth bedroom has four twin beds for families or children. The master bedroom has ensuite bath and a private deck. The second bedroom has a private walkout. Alll bedrooms have private sink and wash area.

The house has three bathrooms including including one bath and two showers.

Amenities include a telephone, fully equipped modern kitchen with marble counters, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, all cooking utensils are provided, as well linens and towels.
