I was in charge of booking a beach house for our family/extended family. Didn't find anything close to its size & rates. Did a "dry run" over Easter to check out the house & find out more about Oceanside Village. It was everything the owner represented. It's a basic beach house. We rented up & downstairs which gave everyone their space. You'll want to rent a golf cart to get around OSV & to the beach.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

Since I was in charge of renting a place for our family & extended family, spent a few days there over Easter - just to be sure it'd work for everyone. It's just what the owner represents it to be: a basic beach house in Oceanside Village, Surfside Beach. Upstairs & downstairs were clean. The owner was very helpful. OSV is a great family community w/lots of amenities! Recommend renting golf carts to get around OSV & down to the beach.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

This property is an older property, but well taken care of. The houses are fairly close together, but a very quiet neighborhood. The neighbors are extremely friendly. It is a gated community with easy access. The house was nice and clean. Do not be afraid of the price (it scared me at first) but Rose stated that they rent it lower because they want you to have an affordable place to vacation. It was a great value. If we return to MB, we will definitely use her place again. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a very nice place at a very reasonable rate.Did you find this review helpful?
