Moonrise Casita was an absolutely wonderful place. It was clean, spacious, modern and perfect for our Tucson vacation. We hiked in the canyons, saw red tailed hawks and quails, sunned ourselves off the porch and just generally enjoyed the peacefulness of Moonrise. Both bedrooms were spacious and comfortable and the bathroom was cozy but outfitted with everything you need. The main living room/kitchen was open with a huge flat screen tv and instructions on how to use the wireless internet. I loved the front porch because you could sit and be cool in the shade or move your chair a little and soak up the sun. They have a security system that makes you feel safe while you are away because it is somewhat isolated in the canyon and you don't see too many people or cars. The owners made sure we had everything we needed and were wonderful from start to finish. Highly recommend this gem.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Every year we travel to Arizona in November for some sun filled mountain biking and hiking. The cozy casita we rented from Andrew is in a perfect location for the Tucson Mountain Park. The casita itself is very practical with a large kitchen/ sitting area being the focal point. The location is extremely quiet, yet quite close to restaurants and shopping. Andrew was a super host, responding very quickly to our requests. Certainly take him up on his free guided tour- very cool.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway.
