  What a terrific location for a reunion of college friends! The house had everything we needed. The screened porch was wonderful, especially since we had rain during much of our visit – we spent a lot of our time out there, close to the beauty and yet protected from the rain. The owners were eager to make sure everything was in order for us. I do not think our group could have found a place that suited our needs any better.

  This property is very convenient to St. Michael's and all attractions on Eastern Shore. The home is comfortable, but modest in furnishings. As has been mentioned, the kitchen rug is very dirty and unattractive. We had difficulty finding enough towels. Renters should bring their own paper supplies from the start, including toilet paper. The living area is not comfortable, but the screen porch is a plus. There are steps up to all the bedrooms from the living area. Must be able to climb two or three fairly steep steps. Overall a good experience, but do not expect luxury. The view of the back of the house is much more appealing than the front. This house is in a neighborhood with neighbors close by, but this was not a problem.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

  Owner response: You were right about the carpet - we got rid of it! Thanks for letting us know. I'll post some photos of the steps so that everyone decide if they are manageable... Also, we have loads of extra towels in the hall closets. I'm sorry you didn't find them!

  We stayed last year and are looking forward to a return. The house was great for 5 adults and 3 younger ones. It was well equipped with kayaks, bikes and crab pots. We loved eating outside on the back porch. We especially liked the location--close enough to walk or bike to town, but quiet in its own little cove. Ellen was great to deal with anything that came up, and we appreciate the laid-back charm of the house.

  House was very close to town. Pictures showed property well. We listed 4 couples with possible 5th single. 4 bedrooms suitable for adults, dbl bed really small for 2 adults. We had 8 adults so one couple had to split up and we used the 5th bdrm. Plenty of dishes N glassware. Kitchen rug pretty bad. Screened porch great, beautiful backyard. We ate lunches out crab claw N Ava's great. Foxy's (on the water) great views OK food. Town Dock dinner great. Thanks Ellen for recommending dinner there. Nice ferry trip. Good golf. We all enjoyed our visit.

  We were in St. Michaels, MD for a wedding and found this home on VRBO. We couldn't have asked for a better stay anywhere! Clean, convenient, and all amenities were provided. We even had time and took advantage of the extras such as pack-n-play, toys for children, kayaking, biking, and relaxing! And at the end of the day, thoroughly enjoyed the jacuzzi. Thank you again to our wonderful hosts; they opened their home to us and we all felt very welcome!

  We spent most of our time during the day on the porch and on the dock. The kayaks were nice, too. The house was comfortable for our group of 6 girls. We went downtown for one lunch and one dinner, but ate other meals at the house. Downtown was packed during the day on Saturday! The kitchen wasn't as well-stocked as most rental houses I've stayed in, but it was OK for a weekend. (we couldn't find larger serving dishes/casserole dishes) I would stay here again- especially with kids.

  Wonderful vacation for a family with kids and dogs. The water just off the dock was calm and not too deep. Our kids (8 and 11) were able to kayak right there safely. They had such a great time. The house was nice and big, plenty of room! It's a very short drive to town, where we ate wonderful food and shopped! We are definitely going to return.

  We loved everything about our trip to St. Michaels. The house was perfect and we'd go back in a second. It had everything we needed (even for the baby) and had lots of fun extras. The town was lovely too! Thanks again!

  My work staff of 6 stayed in this beautiful home for three days and had a wonderful time. The setting is absolutely spectacular -- early morning coffee on the dock can't be topped! The accomodations are great including the HUGE screened in porch. It is a hop, skip and a jump into town so the location is just perfect. We loved staying here and it was so much nicer for our group to stay all together than to have reserved seperate rooms in a hotel. I can't wait to stay again!!
