Mamma Rosa Bed & Breakfast is situated in Montepertuso, a small and tranquil village on top of Positano with amazing views overlooking the Amalfi Coast and Capri Island. Ideal for trekking and hiking lovers and those who wish to escape from city life and be surrounded by nature.
We offer our guests the opportunity to spend their holiday in a peaceful, relaxing and friendly atmosphere.
Mamma Rosa is an old house skilfully restored, with arches and vaults typical of Mediterranean architecture, situated between terraced citrus groves and secular vineyards. The decor is simple, refined and elegant, equipped to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
The neighbourhood, is very quiet and safe. Buses serve Positano, Nocelle and Priano. Parking is free on the road.
You can reach us from the road by beautiful tree-lined stairs (around 200, help will be provided with your luggage). Due to it's exclusive position you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Amalfi Coast, the amazing Mediterranean sea, Li Galli Island (an island just off Positano, once owned by Rudolf Nureyev) and the famous Faragliaoni of Capri all from your balcony.
P.S. During the winter time you have an option to use the heating (8 hours daily) for an extra cost of 7 EUR per day per room.

We arrived late and because of this we couldn't find the property in the dark. That was no problem as the owner and her brother came and found us and escorted us to the location. We were then shown where to eat supper just steps from this B&B. The food and atmosphere were wonderful! While we were gone for supper our bags were brought up to our room and after supper we made the climb all 218 stairs. Believe me when I say it was worth every step!!! The rooms were impeccable!! Very clean and well maintained. The breakfast was great as well. The rooms were fantastic with lovely balconies overlooking the sea! I wish we had more time to spend there and if you are doing the Amalfi coast this is a great spot to stay!! As we checked out the owner carried two of our heaviest bags down by herself then came halfway back up and took our remaining bag from my husband. We had both rooms rented with family so it was very private as well. Would make a great weakly rental ( if you are fit) I would suggest packing light and don't forget anything in your car as I had to do two trips up the stairs because of a forgotten cell phone in the car.Recommended for: Pet owners, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway.

I had really nice time at Mamma Rosa B&B, the room was simply perfect and Melania was really kind and helped me to arrange a day trip to Pompei. I hope to come back soon and have the opportunity to saty longer. CiaoooRecommended for: Adventure seekers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car.
