  I stayed at the Hyatt Grand Aspen Thanksgiving week with my family of 5 in a two bedroom unit and am so very pleased with my choice. It's all about the rooms and location at this Hyatt. The unit was superior to the rooms at the St. Regis and The Little Nell. We had two bedrooms, one with a fire place and the other with steam shower and jacuzzi. Both had soaking tubs, showers and flat screen TV's. (5 flat screen tv's in the unit) The kitchen had Viking appliances, beautiful hard wood floors and a wine refrigerator...every detail was thought out. Even ground coffee (reg. and decaf) was supplied for the in room coffee/espresso machine. The maid service was twice daily and the chocolate almond toffee at turn down was a nice touch. Linens were great, beds very comfortable and warm with down comforters and pillows. The hotel supplied nice robes, slippers and a safe in each bedroom. We had three balconies that overlooked the Christmas lights in the square below. The living room was furnished with two very nice leather chairs and a nice sleeper sofa...very new, clean and comfortable (after requesting house keeping put a down mattress topper on it which was done immediately with no hesitation). The main room also had a fireplace which was lovely. There is no room service or restaurant but a free (just so-so) continental breakfast is served daily in the wine bar/lobby area. The public spaces are nice but not fantastic. Pool and jacuzzi are good, work out room good also. For night life, food service, and spa treatments we found the St. Regis directly next door to be amazing. Olive's, a Todd English restaurant (also in the St. Regis) is literally 30 seconds away. The hotel offers free airport pick up and free car service around town. Concierge was generally helpful but staffed with young people new to the area without much experience. The Little Nell had it all over them in this area. ( I had family in all three hotels mentioned). The unit also had a washer/dryer with detergent and fabric softener supplied. I will return hopefully sooner than later!

  We had a wonderful week at the Hyatt Grand Aspen. The weather was great and the condo was superb. My family loved the fact we could all hang out together. The quality of the room was over the top. So many TVs! Great kitchen, even though we did not cook much. The staff was so friendly and attentive. Housekeeping did a great job too. Room furniture and appliances were top of the line. In summary, we hope to go back again next year.

  The Hyatt was just wonderful! Beautifully elegant and very well appointed. Our room had 2 porches, 4 flat screen TV's, Viking appliances, (complete with a dishwasher that had a light in it) soft linens and big fluffy towels. What more could you ask for?! The staff were all superb. I have never seen such meticulous housekeeping and such well maintained common areas ever. John and I were delighted in every way. Matthew and his chef buddies loved it,too, as it provided a nice place to chill away from the crowds. Thank you for everything you did to make our vacation memorable,Tami. Your attention to my every question and detail was truly professional. If you need a reference, I'm on it! Enjoy your summer and I will contact you when I begin to plan our next trip. I loved your deal....all included and no surprises. John and I thank you again!

  Tami: Our trip to the Hyatt Aspen was absolutely phenomenal from top to bottom. Our unit was the best digs we have ever stayed in on our annual boy’s trip, and the service from the good folks at the Hyatt was impeccable. All 8 of us rank these accommodations and associated staff service as the best we have ever experienced. We have decided to try Vail next year for our sixth annual trip, but strongly expect we will decide next year that Aspen is the spot and cannot be improved upon!
