Nancy's house was wonderful. My wife and I and our 3 year old stayed there for a week. It was as if we took our own house on vacation with us. Everything we needed was there. Bedrooms and bathroom were all very nice. Wonderful location close to main street. Lovely backyard with deer roaming in from time to time! all in all a great houseRecommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

Aside from the rainy weather, we had an excellent stay at this wonderful, cozy home. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking to have both a relaxing vacation by using the beautiful backyard yet still be walking distance to downtown and the beaches!Owner response: Thank you Tawnya for your review. About the owner: Ever since I studied the Okanagan Valley when I was in grade school, I vowed to myself that someday I would live in this paradise. So when my children moved here with my grandchildren, I got my opportunity. My husband and I found this little gem in 2003 and seized the day. We chose this 1928 house because we could envision the unique aspects and inner beauty this house had to offer with a little imagination and hard work. Sadly in the middle of renovating our house my husband passed away, but with the help of family and friends we finished the transformation we had envisioned. Being centrally located has made it easy for friends and family to drop by and we have shared many wonderful memories together in my little piece of heaven from sunny BBQ's in my large back yard to cozying up on the window seat watching the snow fall outside. With the grandkids growing up, I now want to share this lovely retreat with the world.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
This summer rental is unique in its proximity to so many of Penticton's events and venues. One can be relaxing in the backyard, be drawn to the sound of a concert from Gyro Park and just pick up and go being there within two minutes dressed as you are.
