  My husband, 7 month old baby and I just returned from our vacation to Maui staying at the Hale Kamaole. We would highly recommend this place to anyone considering staying here. The condo is fully stocked including a cupboard full of beach gear. We loved being on the ground floor and being steps away from the pool and BBQ area. This is a great location to the beaches. Lots of light in this condo as it is a corner condo. All round a great trip, we would stay here again.

  Wonderful location at top of complex with extra parking available. Condo is very clean and well equipped. Really recommed this unit however good luck getting it reserved as many friends and repeat visitors have realized that the new bigger lanai is fantastic and seats many guests. We fully intend to book it in years to come. Having stayed in this complex since the 1970's this is a gem unit now discovered since the lanai has been expanded. Well done!!

  What a great condo unit to enjoy our first visit to Maui. The unit is very clean and comfortable, with everything you will every need for a wonderful vacation. This unit has a beautiful lanai that provides lots of space for visiting or just relaxing. The pictures on the web site truly reflect the beauty of this condo. We so much enjoyed our time here that we will be returning again year after year. Having Kamaole Beach lll across the street is very convenient as are popular restaurants just down the street. Hale Kamaole has truly been a most wonderful experience, thank you so much.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at #144. The corner location was quiet as it was at the top of the complex. Yet it was steps away from a jump in the pool and a game of tennis. Everything we needed including a wet suit and snorkel gear, chairs and even guide books was available. The unit was so CLEAN and cute. Even though re-roofing was done during our stay, it occurred the day we were away and the inconvenience was minor. My husband (a carpentry instructor) enjoyed viewing the process. The location on Maui was ideal for us. When I went for my runs, I was so close to the oceanfront path at Wailea and it was a hoot to run so close to the ocean,even viewing lu'au entertainers and activity. Good snorkleling across the road and walkable to Kihei stores and restaurants. I will recommend this unit to friends who might travel to Maui and definitely try to stay here on a return trip. Thank you so much for letting us experience Hale Kama'ole (the sunsets, the community barbecues, and the ocean view), and especially this condo.

  We recently spent 3 weeks at HK144 and loved every second. The unit is very clean and tastefully appointed. We appreciated the recent upgrades (bathroom & lanai) as well as the lanai closet which had everything we needed for the beach...chairs, snorkel gear boogie boards...saved us from having to buy it all and leaving it there. Our 4 year old loved the fold out twin bed and we ended up buying a brand new Evenflo playpen for our 2 year old which we left in the unit for future guests to use. As HK144 is an end unit, the additional light from the side window was a bonus. By far one of the best parts of the unit is the new lanai...it is a much better use of the space, safe for the kids (lots of geckos spotted) and as it gets sun exposure all day I enjoyed sitting on the lanai most afternoons while the kids were having their naps. We had family members staying in another unit at Hale Kamaole and they commented numerous times on how much more they liked 'our unit'. Thank you for having such a great property to rent...we look forward to renting it again in the future!

  We stayed at this condo for two weeks in April and had a lovely time. Everything we needed from fluffy towels to beach equipment and good snorkel gear was available. We enjoyed the comfortable furnishings, the large flat screen TV in the living room, the TV in the bedroom, and the new lanai furniture.. New landscaping to the lanai area was being done while we were there and it was interesting to watch the transformation. What a significant improvement it makes to the view! We will defnitely be back!

  Our family of four enjoyed staying in this unit immensely. A great location, right across the street from the three Kamaole beaches and steps from restaurants and shopping made it ideal for us. The rental was newly freshened up with lovely paint and furnishings and the kitchen had everything we needed. The owners were lovely to work with and were very prompt and honest in their dealings. We would definitely return to the unit and have already told our family about the awesome resort, which is very quaint and quiet. There are tons of activities for families in Kihei, with excellent boogie boarding and swimming (with a lifeguard) just across the road. A huge grass area was a great place to toss a ball at the complex. Although we didn't use them, there were charcoal barbecues available for use and two pools on the Hale Kamaole resort. If you visit, be sure to go to Fred's restaurant for some large-portion of delicious Mexican. And beach hopping- especially to the south - is lovely. All the beaches are beautiful and clean and many offer snorkeling opportunities. We can't wait to go back! If you are looking for a cozy, comfortable unit that doesn't put on any airs, this one is for you!

  This is a lovely location - close to the beach but away from the traffic. It is also an end unit which has sunshine on the lanai all day long! It has all the amenities you could need or want - fully equipped kitchen, nice flat screen tv and is extremely well stocked with beach gear (great chairs, boogie boards, snorkel gear, +++). It is very clean and has a comfortable queen bed. Although the sofa in the living area is a little old and saggy, the rest of the unit more than made up for it. The owners are quick to respond to questions and are very helpful. I would stay here again. Thank you!

  Owner response: When we purchased our condo this past February, our priority was to create a comfortable, well stocked home away from home for our guests. While we have done some renovations and added some new furnishings, the sofa is certainly next on our list.
