Located at the corner of Place Monge, not far from Rue Mouffetard, the Pantheon and La Sorbonne, with the Luxembourg Gardens and the Jardin des Plantes near by: There is a wonderful market every Wednesdqy, Friday and Sunday morning. This large, elegant and quiet 95 square metre apartment is filled with light and located on the first floor of an elevator building.
This spacious apartment offers a pleasant entrance, a bright living room filled with books, television and stereo. The adjacent dining room leads to a computer equipped office. The kitchen is fully equipped. The toilet is in a room separate from the bathroom with sink and tub. The double-bedded room is in the back of the apartment and very quiet. The single-bedded room has a lovely view of the street.
The aparment is conveniently located 2 minutes from Monge Metro and frequent buses, within walking distance of numerous sights. The famous Kayser Bakery is close by along with many good restaurants and cafes. This apartment is in a lovely secure neighbourhood and perfect for a summer stay.

My wife and I and our 14-year-old grandson spent three weeks at this lovely apartment at Place Monge. The apartment was attractive and comfortable. The owner was extremely welcoming. Place Monge and environs were very nice, non-touristy parts of Paris, yet convenient to all. I strongly recommend it. BR, Summer 2012Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, families with teenagers.

About the owner: I am a Canadian living in Paris for the last 40 years but I spend the summer at my second home in Tuscany, which is also now available for rent when I am not there. I am a former Director of Arts and Culture at Unesco and continue to travel and lecture on contemporary French literature.
