  Wow!!!! This lovely Laguna home was all we hoped and more! Comfortable, very well provisioned , and a perfect location . The main beach is just down the street! We had family visiting from England and this was a perfect home base for our beach vacation, as well as being conveniently close to my sons baseball tournament in Irvine. We enjoyed lounging in the lovely garden , playing ping ping, and sharing meals. The house was extremely comfortable for a large group! We are looking forward to our next visit !! Thanks so much for a very memorable holiday! Oh, and I must mention that the price is very reasonable! The Harrisons

  The home was clean and well-positioned in the town. The description of the home and photos were accurate, as was the description of it's location. The owner was friendly, helpful and honest. She provided helpful tips on the area, along with maps and tourist attraction information. We enjoyed visiting Disney Land and the Aquarium of the Pacific and Endeavour at the Science Centre in LA. We enjoyed use of the local outdoor heated pool, althletic park and beach. Supermarkets are nearby. The French bistro was excellent and straight down the street with a view of the sea. Overall a great stay! Thank you.

  Excellent location, , near beach, town, and food market, with good private parking (rare in Laguna), and well landscaped fenced yard , ample seating and a nice side patio with large grill.. We arrived at a time when there were some ongoing repairs and maintenance issues, therefore at that time, it merited less than a five star rating to us, but was in the process of upgrades. Owner lives in another city but was readily available by Email. One surprise for us was that the room advertised with the jacuzzi was actually in the garage annex, while we had thought it was in the house proper.. We had a relatively cool month, so we did not get to use the jacuzzi, although the garage does have heaters. The house proper had three bedrooms, a nice shower bathroom and a powder room plus outside shower-really great for the kids coming back from the beach, This home has an abundance of towels, blankets, paper goods, activites and games, sports equipment, a great large flat screen high definition T.V.and lots more. Owner is responsive, and this place suits the couple or family that likes to kick off their shoes and not concern themselves with formal living while at the beach. Cottage has a nautical theme. and the dining table conveniently seats 6-8 with good pantry storage space for preparing family fun meals and an extra freezer, also two washing machines in the annex. We found it particularly convenient being near Laguna High where a grandson was attending and also that provided other activities open to the public...We also had fun at the shops down the street at Laguna Village and the Cliff Restaurant and other beachside eating places all within a few blocks.We didn't get to Fashion Island up the road at Newport which we heard so much about, but we did enjoy the very short ride to Laguna Niguel and Dana Point. So much to enjoy in the area!

  Dear Marianne, Well our time at your delightful cottage is drawing to an end. We've all enjoyed ourselves immensely, and having the added benefit of spending time with my older 2 sons has been wonderful. We've had a few great family meals around your dining table! I'll be sad to say goodbye to them once again. I would like to thank you for your hospitality as the cottage is so well stocked that we wanted for nothing. We would like to retuen one day as the location, just like the accomodation, was also as promised and very convenient to everything.   Rented the cottage for a family Christmas.Really appreciated the Christmas lights on the cottage. What this cottage has going for it, is the location. Just a couple of blocks to the beach, restaurants, bars, etc. So nice not to have to find parking downtown, we walked everywhere. We went to Disneyland twice and we were in the parking lot in 30 minutes. So nice to be back by the beach and not in the madness of Anaheim when our day ended. The property was clean and very well stocked, but really in need of some updating. We are not fussy people so it worked fine for us. I think the description 4 bedrooms and attached unit should be changed. It has 3 bedrooms inside and the 4th room is a small converted garage which is reached by going out the back kitchen door across the small yard and down the side yard to the door. You share a wall inside but no access. The sunken tub is in this room but no toilet or sink, really odd. The bed is next to the 2 dryers and washer, with a portable heater on top of the dryer to use. Not quite like the picture .My teenage son slept out there with no problem but you need to come back in the house to use the restroom. Just trying to be honest here, that room is fine for the teenagers, but little ones or people who need a restroom at night, not so much. We were there in winter so only had one shower the second is outside, which would be perfect in summer. This house is so equipped for the little ones, high chairs, portacribs, games, beach toys plus a fully fenced back and front yard. We had a great time, the owner was great to work with sent us all kinds of information on Laguna Beach so we could plan our week. Lots of great memories were made here. Thanks Marianne

  the family met in our "home town" of laguna to celebrate mom's 80th birthday; the house is 3 blocks from where we all spent our formative years. it was perfect for the gathering - including the "you are special today" red dining plate we had grown up with, but no one remembered to bring. the location near downtown and our favorite beach, sleepy hollow, was excellent. we loved the outdoor shower! the only "bad" thing was the far back bedroom that was moist and not useable, but we managed to camp out on the aerobed without problem. the kitchen is more than well stocked with just about everything one needs, including spices! there are enough dishes and flatware for all. the large dining table (and extra folding chairs) were ample for the birthday dinner. the owner was extremely helpful with questions, directions and clarity of the use of the property. i would not hesitate in recommending this location in the future.
