We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and all the activity at the adjoining marina. Close to the water taxi to Palm Island. Good local restaurants (especially Leverocks) and nearby shopping. Very clean and well kept unit. Exceptional decorating. Owners extremely helpful. Only problem was marina pool which was closed last year and unheated this year. Lots of manatees and local colour. You can't go wrong with this choice.Recommended for: Age 55+.

This is the first place I have ever rented that had everything provided when I arrived. I needed only bring a toothbrush and a change of clothing. The dock is a stones throw from your 1st floor patio. Fishing anyone? Greet the sunrise with coffee from the roof top deck, have breakfast on the deck off the kitchen and enjoy Southwest Florida's /tropical Paradise at Cape Haze Marina, but tell only a select few of your friends about it as we want to keep it secluded and private. The Grouper Tournament was held at Cape Haze Marina in January. Wow! What an experience to see the returning boats with their catch right off my back door. Only health concerns will keep me from returning in 2014.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, sightseeing, adventure seekers.

About the owner: My wife and I purchased this townhome in February of 2012. We Right now, we reside not far away but plan on occupying this beautiful townhome in a few years. You will find, as we have when we moved down here from New Hampshire, that Englewood and the Port Charlotte area, is not as congested as the bigger cities of Sarasota and Fort Myers. This is a great destination as we love the gulf and Lemon Bay. There are so many beaches to explore and you are close enough to take the grandkids to Disney, Busch, Universal, or the many musueums, state parks, or just relax in your own spacious townhome.
Why the Owner Chose Englewood:
We first started coming to the Englewood area in 2000 and spent winters here for a number of years, having lived in Port Charlotte and North Port, we always ended up near Englewood Beach, Stump Pass Beach, or Blind Pass Beach on Manasota Key. The never congested feel was the key to exploring all this area had to offer. This is where we plan on retiring.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome:
Although we just purchased this townhome, we know that if you are a boater, your own boat can be stored in dry storage, rack storage, or in a wet slip, at reasonable rates, in the marina right outside your door. If you are a member of the Freedom Boat Club, the marina houses twenty slips for the club with an assortment of boats. The use of the marina pool and hot tub are a privilege of owning a townhome here.
