Long Beach Island is THE family hot spot of the Jersey shore! A great vacation spot that offers both plenty of excitement AND solitude and natural beauty, but only a short drive from NYC and most NJ and eastern PA communities. No need to endure long airport lines or spend hours jammed in traffic. Don't live out of a suitcase in a small, dingy hotel room.
Enjoy all that Long Beach Island has to offer from the comfort and convenience of this spacious (1500 square foot) SINGLE FAMILY, smoke-free home in a quiet, centrally located BAYVIEW location. The adults and kids can spend family time together in the dining and family areas, but also plenty of room in the four bedrooms and outdoor areas for privacy.
Enjoy a beverage on the upstairs deck and watch the bay activities, or take a short walk to the beach and spend the day sunning, swimming, and relaxing. Many activities and destinations are within walking distance, including grocery store, multi-screen movie theater, restaurants, bars, liquor store, bike rental, and ice cream parlor. A traffic light at Long Beach Boulevard insures easy entry to and exit from our street.
Our home has been totally updated and renovated for your convenience and pleasure. Newer furnishings, air conditioning, and electronic amenities add to your comfort and enjoyment. A full complement of kitchen and laundry appliances are provided for your use.
The home is owned and provided by our family for YOUR family. It is very clean and tastefully decorated.
The kitchen is equipped with a stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave oven, blender, coffee pot, and refrigerator, as well as pots and pans, utensils, and ample dishes, drinking glasses, etc.
Each bedroom has a ceiling fan. Pillows, blankets, mattress covers and comforters are provided.
There is a private backyard with patio, picnic table, and gas grill. The second floor deck overlooks the bay and has chairs and cocktail tables provided.
On Long Beach Island there are plenty of day and night activities for both children and adults. Your vacation can be as action packed or as quiet and leisurely as you wish!

Long Beach Island is a great place to have a family vacation. It can be as quiet and relaxed or as action packed as you wish. It has a great combination of beaches, water sports, activities for all ages, culture, and opportunities for peace and quiet. It also offers a full range of dining options and night time activities.
Well known ice cream parlor offers about a hundred flavors. A hit with kids and adults alike!
Full size Acme supermarket and six screen movie theater showing all the latest films are both within walking distance.

Margaret and I were both born and raised in New Jersey. We have always enjoyed visiting Long Beach Island, and were finally able to buy our own place in 2003. We both have very demanding and hectic jobs. We are also very busy with our two college age sons and their interests. LBI is a great place for our family to get away from all the pressure, slow down, and relax.

The "girls" in my family rented this home for a week in July 2011. There was my sister and I, our adult daughters and their children. The home was lovely and appeared as shown in the photos. We had a very nice vacation. However it turned out that the owner seems to be extremely fastidious and even though we cleaned the house prior to leaving there was a problem which resulted in half of the security deposit being withhold. It was a lot of money to lose for forgetting to wash a quilt and for there being stains(?) on a shower curtain. So unless you're willing to take a chance of foregoing your security deposit for not cleaning it well enough DO NOT RENT THIS HOUSE.
Owner response:For over seven years we have been renting out our summer home to families wishing to vacation at the Jersey Shore. We have been very fortunate to have rented to responsible and conscientious families who have treated our home and furnishings as they would their own, with this one exception. We understand, and frankly expect, that from time to time drinking glasses will get broken, a piece of furniture will get scratched, perhaps a towel will get stained, and so on. However in this case the renters had little or no regard for our property and furnishings, and did a very cursory job of cleaning when they left. Specifically, a white bedroom comforter was taken out of the house and used as a blanket at the park. It came back to the house full of grass stains and wood chips. Since it was not cleaned and was simply put back on the bed, the mattress pads and the pillows were also left dirty for our cleaning lady to deal with. The bathroom was left absolutely filthy, meaning there was visible soil on the toilet, the wall, the shower curtain, the vanity, the bathmat and the floor. For sanitary reasons, the entire bathroom needed to be cleaned and disinfected. There was no way that I could leave such a mess for the incoming tenant Never before have we felt compelled to take as much as one penny from anyone's security deposit. In this case we kept half of the $300 security deposit, which frankly was less than what was appropriate, given the extra work that had to be done in the four hour window between the departure of these filthy people and the next vacationers. Honestly I'm glad they would not ever consider renting from us again, they are dirty people. In closing I’ll point out that we have had over 60 renters over the past ten years, all of them satisfied and many of them returning multiple times.
