This two-story single-family home on the oceanfront has been recently renovated and redesigned to be modern and bring luxury to your beachfront experience. The location of this property is extraordinary, just two blocks from the Newport Pier but yet far enough away to have peace and quiet. There are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. You are steps away from the sand to take a stroll on the beach and enjoy the ocean breeze or you and your family can rent bikes and cruise the 6 miles of the boardwalk. It’s location is prime and just a short walk to the 19th street landing and bay beach.
Entering the property, you will first notice the striking floor to ceiling windows, allowing plenty of organic light inside and providing spectacular views from the downstairs living area and from the upstairs master bedroom. The windows and sliding glass doors facing the ocean have been treated to filter out harmful UV rays, keeping the living room cool, and adding a level of privacy. The spacious front boardwalk patio has a table with an umbrella and seating for six. Friends and family can enjoy dinner prepared on the charcoal grill, or sip on drinks while watching the dolphins. The large sliding glass doors allow the ocean breeze to permeate the living area during warm summer afternoons.
The living area has vaulted ceilings and a large open floor plan for everyone in the family to enjoy the living, dining and kitchen at the same time. The living room features a beautiful travertine gas fireplace for that cozy ambiance in the cool evenings as you rest comfortably on the plush down sofas. A large 42” flat panel HDTV with a Blu-ray/DVD player which allows for Netflix & Hulu streaming (using your own account) is available for your entertainment. The modern window shades provide additional sun protection and privacy.
Moving from the living area towards the dining area you will find elegant furniture for your dining comfort. The marble top buffet is a classy touch that has serving trays and wine storage so you can enjoy a fabulous dinner at the matching marble dining table which seats six. Additional seating for two is available off the kitchen counter, perfect for chatting with the chief or enjoying an informal meal before heading out to the beach. The open kitchen is modern and functional with recessed lighting, granite countertops, clean white cabinetry, and all white new appliances, including a quiet dishwasher.
Ascending the stairs, you’ll notice new carpet, which stretches throughout the second floor. The master suite has a spectacular view of the ocean where you can control the shades at your leisure for optimal privacy. The master bedroom has all the amenities of an ocean retreat. It features a king bed, large mirrored closet doors, a comfy master suite chair, a beautifully tiled shower with clear shower doors. The vanity area is separate from the shower to provide a couple the convenience of getting ready at the same time. All bathrooms have granite countertops, with gorgeous framed mirrors and brushed nickel hardware.
There are two guest bedrooms and one guest bathroom. One of the guest suites has a queen bed that is equipped with a ceiling fan for comfort and a 32” TV/DVD for private enjoyment. The other guest suite is designed for many guests and/or children it has two bunk beds featuring a twin on top and a full on bottom so the room can easily sleep 6. It is designed for children with plenty of open space on the floor to play along with and a 32” safety-strapped flat screen TV and DVD player for their entertainment. While the children settle in this space you can enjoy an evening with a glass of wine.
This single family home has a laundry closet, with a new full-size washer and dryer, located adjacent the kitchen. There is a closet that houses a vacuum and cleaning supplies with plenty of room for storage. This elegant home has the added advantage of a large two car garage where you can enter directly into the kitchen with your groceries.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Absolutely loved the house. The only problem was the kitchen. It smelled like something was rotten. There was tons of mold in the cabinets. There was a leak coming from the upstairs restroom that leaked into the kitchen. There was also a huge problem with nats in the kitchen. They were everywhere. Rating Details: I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place needs to be up dated and furnished with nice furniture I was told the place would be very clean and nice i got dirty carpet kitchen infested with fruitflys, bathroom full of mold in shower, furniture so dirty I could not sit on,sinks in bathroom clogged and dryer took three hoursd to dry. Your maintenace guy for the dryer came over looked at vent then told me I was first to ever complain and left.Thanks for the help. carpet guy did come over and clean carpet and couch but so old and dirty they looked the same when he was one came for the clogged sinks or the broken lamp shade. I spent the week cleaning and spraying the bugs.The location was great, and the parking garage was good for the amount of money this place charged I think the owners could buy and spend some money on up grading the place.When I asked if the place was really clean I was told yes as I told the agent I have bad allergies she just said yes to sell the place for a week. as a agent I think she should be ethical and go see the place and make sure it is being cared for and cleaned. All the cleaning people do is clean sinks mop the floor and lets go. It is ashame as I wanted to do something nice for the family and have a great time at the beach for one week. we looked forward to this vacation for 9 months was hoping for a great home and lots of fun in the sun. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Home location was great. Lots of items inside the home that were in need of general repair. Home felt like it hadn’t seen a maintenance crew or handyman in a long time. Basic home features are in desperate need of updating many aspects of the home felt cheap (especially considering the price being charged), such as: toilets (too small and old) towel bars, living room tv (dated and small), master bath shower drain bent and rusted, propane bbq old/rusted/dilapidated, living room furniture falling apart, beds are cheap and extremely uncomfortable (not a single person in our family got a good night’s rest), fridge is cheap and old. If the home wasn’t in as good of a locations it is, it wouldn’t even be worth even half of what we paid for a week. The house is in OK shape. The cabnets, countertops, floors and furniture are old but in working order.I would describe this house as nothing fancy in a awesome location. I was a little disappointed I had to make the beds upon arrival and was expected to strip the beds (linen and towels)and put them by the front door, make sure all the dishes were in the dishwasher and run it, take all the trash out and put the trash cans on the curb for pick up upon departure. You would expect full service for the price per night of this place. Other than the arrival and departure chores we had an excellent time.
