There was no damage whatsoever from hurricane Sandy, we are so thankful. Hear the waves crashing on the beach from this large home that meets all requirements for a vacation at the shore. This home has 6 bedrooms, 2 full baths, and one half bath plus an outdoor shower and includes 2 fireplaces, sauna and plenty of space for large and extended families. Great top floor dormitory style bedroom for the kids or grand kids, or cousins, also second floor deck with furniture. There are also 2 inflatable queen size mattresses that are 18 and one half inches high with built in pilllows with a built in electric motor pump for easy inflation. Also there is a Finnish sauna to use in the master bathroom.
There is a lovely wrap around porch for relaxing with 3 person swing, rocking chairs, wicker furniture, lounge chairs and adequate seating to rest from beach and eat, and plenty of parking for everyone, outdoor shower, very large modern washed oak kitchen [costing over $100,000] with large island and matching large kitchen table and 8 chairs and six hanging lights, tile mural of ocean scene and etched glass cabinets, and some of the cabinets pull out for easy access to the contents, large family room with cable TV and sofas, dining room with extending table, new carpeting in living room, dining room, stairway, and upstairs hallway, Also there is high speed internet to use. In early May 2012 the walls in the livingroom and part of the hallway were totally renovated, with a light beige color wainscoat on the bottom half and beautiful light blue painted walls on the top half. Also there are some original paintings hanging on the walls, and some lighthouse pictures in the large family and TV room that some people like to relax and sleep in. There are red and pink rose bushes that flower frequently in the back and side yard that guests are welcome to cut anytime and put in a vase with water, it actually helps the rose bush grow and produce more by pruning. Also there are butterfly bushes with beautiful smells and pink and purple puffball bushes that you are free to cut.. often there are butterflies landing and feeding on the butterfly bushes We recommend coming to preview this property to be sure it will meet your family's requirements.
Only a short distance from other near by attractions and fun things to do including Morey's Pier, Ocean Oasis and Mariners Landing water parks, Splash Zone, and Gateway 26 Arcade. Bike rentals, miniature golf, parasailing, Silver Bullet dolphin and whale watches and fire works every Friday night. Enjoy an afternoon at the Avalon and Stone Harbor Golf Clubs. Spend the day riding the rides on all three Morey's Piers or take a turn on one of their 7 world class roller coasters. Enjoy the shopping and food along the Wildwood Boardwalk. Visit Laura's Fudge and Kohr's Brothers Ice cream and enjoy dinner at nearby Cape May's 'Lobster House'. Take a cruise on the Cape May/Lewes Ferry, or visit the Wildwood Convention Center and Cape May County Zoo. The gentle slopping beach down by the ocean is one of the nicest, prettiest, and safest in NJ especially for young chilfen and is very wide and to the south is a large wlidlife sanctuary with a unspoiled beach about a mike long, at times with many conch shells and other shells and many shore birds, sandpipers, and sea gulls, which you can drive or walk to, only about a mile away and pristine beaches and fishing from the beach or jetties.
