Beautiful, two-level, luxury, duplex home located on quiet street at "The Family Beach." Perfect for one, two, or three couples, small families.

Fantastic views from five decks. Backs up to marshland, Intercoastal Waterway - watch the boats go by from the multi-level (3)back decks. Half block from beach with semi-private access (no public access there means less crowd)- undeveloped lots in front provide for great ocean views and sounds. See the ocean and listen to the waves crash as you relax on either of the two front decks. All decks are furnished, recently painted/stained and lower decks and patio provide shade if desired.

Recently renovated with fresh paint, carpet, and furniture inside. Light colors and picture windows on three of four walls give great bright and open feel, very sunny. We recently updated the Master bedroom with new twin mattresses that convert to a King if desired. Families seem to appreciate the flexibility.

On the right day you will see one of the most beautiful sunsets imaginable off of our back decks.

Updated, Florida Villa style decorations. Comfortable furnishings, breakfast bar, vaulted ceilings, well equipped kitchen are a few living features. Dining and breakfast bar seats seven for meals.

Three TVs (36 inch big screen in living room, wall-mounted flat screen 20 inch in master, 19 inch in guest), 2 DVD, 2 VCR, home theatre, cd player and digital upper tier cable provide in-house entertainment options. Puzzles, games and movies are available for rainy days and relaxing out of the sun.

Large backyard, barbecue/picnic area, and ground-level sundeck provided. Paved cement patio, driveway and under-house (on pilings) parking for multiple vehicles/boat. An outdoor shower and changing area are available for cleaning up the family after the beach.

Nightly rentals available (minimum stay) in offseason or last-minute during high-season if vacant, please feel free to email or call, be sure to leave message, we are very busy but will get back to you.

Holden has a variety of restaurant options, boutique shopping and world class golf within a few miles. It is very unique in that there are numerous entertainment, dining, recreation and shopping optons on one side of the "big bridge", while the island itself across the bridge is mainly houses, quiet and peaceful. It is the quiet getaway many are looking for, with the conveniences to make it enjoyable right there as well.

Boat, jet-ski rentals available at HB Marina. Fishing and crabbing areas readily available.

We love our "home away from home" and think you will too. We have traveled all over the world and find Holden to be the best beach anywhere for a relaxing, quiet, courteous coastal vacation.

  • We vacationed with our family of five and had a awesome time. The cottage was really nice and you have the best of both worlds a view of the ocean and one of the waterway! Also you have a added bonus of open land behind you with deer and other wildlife to view. This is the first time we have rented from just the owner and would do it again!Eric was very easy to work with and never minded if you had a question he said just call him! We booked it at the last minute and everything was just as he described.I would recommend renting thru Eric he was a pleasure to work with he made the whole process very simplified. Also you cannot beat the awesome neighbor you will have a chance to meet! Eric FYI the deer do swim to the Island very interesting! Thank you Eric for a wonderful vacation will remember you in the future. Cottage is very clean and well kept up.

  • Just returned from Holden. The duplex was very nicely decorated, and loved all the decks and views. The two bedrooms both appear to be the master; we couldn't tell the difference (other than the view). Enough space for two friends and their 5 children. Walk to beach takes approximately 5 minutes. Neighbor has lived in opposite side for 20 years and she's very sweet. Would recommend.

  • I brought my daughter and her husband for their last vacation before the arrival of their first child. We wanted a beach trip that had the best beach and waves for boogie boarding and raft wave riding as well as a wonderful relaxing beach home. The views are unrivaled with the intercoastal waterway in the back and the ocean in the front. It was perfect and pristine. The sounds of the seabirds, sights of the sailboats, and smell of the salt air was the absolute best! The place is roomy, yet intimate and well appointed. I will definitely be back.

  • We enjoyed our stay at your home. It is hard to find a home small enough for just 4, but close enough to walk to the beach & nice! Your home fit the bill perfectly. This was our first time at Holden Beach & we loved it also. The beach was never crowded at the access near your home.

  • Just returned from Holden Beach on Saturday. Duplex was very plesant and beachy. Loved sitting on the deck and listening to the ocean. Very peacful. If you like frogs this is the place for you. Home is decorated with lots of them. Such a nice quiet area. I'm sure we will be back.

  • My family was staying at Holden Beach and asked for my girlfriend and i to visit. We couldn't stay with them, so my sister gave me the site with the information on this place. We called Eric and the day we were supposed to leave, he agreed to let us rent on 2 days notice. The place was so relaxing. The 2 days felt like a week. We were able to see my family and then retreat back to our own little place. We will definitely be staying again.

  • I stayed for a solo retreat in this beautiful duplex, got lots of writing done, took long walks along the back streets and lots of swims out-to-sea, picked several quarts of blackberries from around the neighborhood (in May!), and thoroughly enjoyed the decks and porches and watching the sailing ships glide silently by from the upstairs rooms. The owners were extremely gracious and cared very much for this dwelling and its guests; they were very accomodating about arrival and departure times, and allowed me to call with any questions. It was my first time renting a place site-unseen, on-line, from an owner, so I was slightly worried. It turned out to be the perfect solution and could not have gone better. I recommend it to any person or family who wants a quiet view of the inland waterway (and, from upstairs, the ocean!), a quick path to the beach, a wonderful, quiet and kind older neighbor named "Happy," and a bright, uplifting sunny kind of interior.   • We had a wonderful stay at this house.The house was spacious and beachy with only a short walk to the beach. The beach itself is never crowded. Holden beach is a great vacation spot and this house exceeded our expectations. We can't wait to return next summer.
