A Trip to Cardinals' Spring Training
A Trip to Cardinals' Spring Training
My husband and I stayed at Coralcopia for 1 week in March in order to attend St. Louis Cardinals' spring training in Jupiter, Florida. This was a perfect location for our trip, only a 15-20 minute drive from the baseball stadium. It is also a perfect location for enjoying exploration of Singer Island and the Palm Beach areas. The house is exactly as it appears on the website, with 3 bedrooms, a living/dining room, full kitchen, TV room, laundry room, and 2 full bathrooms. The fenced backyard is enormous, with patio furniture, lounges, etc., all great to enjoy afternoons in the sun. We traveled with our small dog, and he was warmly welcomed by Jamie (the owner) -- as were my husband and I. Jamie left us with great ideas for bicycling excursions, dinner suggestions, and people-watching activities. She even checked with us halfway through our trip to make sure that we were having a great time (not in a stalking way, but in a very unobtrusive way). We had a great week in Florida, and definitely plan to return. Thank you Jamie!

Perfect House for scuba diving in Palm Beach
Perfect House for scuba diving in Palm Beach
A recent renovation has this house in 'like new' condition ! This is not your usual beach house - it is very tasteful decorated and well appointed and it has a very large back yard. The house is perfect if plan to go scuba diving in the Palm Beach area. You are a half mile from the Blue Heron Bridge, one the best shore dives in the world ! You are also a half mile from the marina area where you can board a boat and dive the wonderful reefs and wrecks just a mile off shore. You are also less than a half mile from a Publix grocery and a dive shop where you can pick up tanks or book dives. Best of all you are on a quite side street with very little noise or traffic. The owner, Jamie, lives a couple miles away and she could not have been easier or more pleasant to deal with. She has lived in the area for years and happily provides a list of her favorite restaurants and tips on things to do and see in the area. We are looking forward to a return stay at Coralcopia !

Why Riviera Beach:
RESTAURANTS: Sailfish Marina, best ambiance-over the bridge and turn right. Keep going til you see it on the right. It sits on the Palm Beach Inlet. Grab a refreshment and watch the boats go by. Food gets one thumb up from me, but you can't beat the atmosphere. Tiki Restaurant -south on U.S.1 (Broadway) two lights and turn left. Totally casual, shorts over bathing suit. Sea Grille salad w/sesame seared tuna or just a burger. Coffee and Bagels Go over the bridge until you run into the strip mall on beach.Delicious bagels. Breakfast and lunch sandwiches look great. My favorite -Reef Grill-Juno Beach North on U.S.1 past PGA Boulevard a mile or so. Look for the fork in the road w/the Juno Beach sign. Take the right fork and look for a lot of cars in a small strip center on the left. Open 7 nights. Great fresh seafood. Elegant Steak house, The River House. PGA Blvd. & the Intracoastal. NW corner. Definitely dreamy sitting out on the water. If you can't do dinner, a libation or app. outside will be memorable. Yardhouse and Ra! (just west on PGA Blvd at Downtown at the Gardens) are two chains that I like. Yardhouse is all American comfort food with a huge beer selection. Ra! is a good sushi chain. Whole Foods is in the same mall area. Also, Toojay's deli. The Circle Room at the Breaker's Hotel in Palm Beach can't be beat for a splurge. The breakfast buffet (not the Sunday brunch) is still a decent value. Plus you get to stroll the beautiful hotel afterwards. $30/person approx. C.R. Chicks-Rotisserie chicken take out. Northlake Blvd. or PGA Boulevard. Yum! Lazy Loggerhead Cafe, on the ocean in Jupiter Breakfast/lunch A bit of a beautiful drive along the ocean, but great food. I would do it. Testa's in Palm Beach. Great for outdoor breakfast. Malakor Thai Lunch/Dinner, Old Northwood in West Palm This Is It Café-Inexpensive breakfast/lunch diner 2 miles south on U.S. 1 (Broadway) til u dead end. Back up 1 blk.
