The apartment is very nice and clean, and exactly as appears in the pictures. It is a very good size for a couple - my partner and I stayed here for a month and found it very comfortable. It is very well located - there are lots of bars and restaurants within a couple of blocks, and the N-Judah line of the Muni is very close, which takes you right downtown. There are also grocery stores nearby (one of which is only 1 block away). As a visiting researcher, it was helpful to be only a 10 minute walk from UCSF Medical Center, too. We found that the only downside was that we were able to hear footsteps and voices quite clearly through the ceiling, which could disturb you if you're a light sleeper. However, this isn't too big an issue. Overall, a very nice apartment in a great location, which I would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+.
Owner response: Thanks Peter. We make every effort to be quiet in the morning and evening hours, but appreciate that we are not always successful. We will continue to make our best efforts.

My wife and I recently became grandparents and visited san Francisco to see our new grandson. This apartment was ideal because of close proximity to my son's apartment on 17th Avenue. But also the location on 9th Avenue is close to the vibrant centre of the Inner Sunset District with a wide and diverse range of shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. We specially liked the Social Club and Brewery on 9th Avenue. The apartment was clean, tidy and well eqipped. Excellent links to public transport to downtown.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+.
Owner response: Thanks Alec. We look forward to a return stay soon!

I stayed in the apartment while interviewing at UCSF for residency. It is was very clean, looks just like the pictures, and is in a fabulous location that is an easy walk to UCSF, Golden Gate Park, and a ton of restaurants, cafe's, and shops in the Inner Sunset. It is also very close to the N Judah Muni Line which can take you all the way from Ocean Beach on the far west side of the city to The Ferry Building/Fisherman's Wharf etc. in the Northeast, as well as stops in between where you can connect to any line you need to get anywhere else in the city. The owner is very friendly and available but in no way intrusive. I would absolutely stay here again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.
Owner response: Thanks Colby. You are welcome anytime!

Adding to my recent review, two suggestions to make this even more perfect-rugs on the floor (floor was cold, and not a rug to be found) and a mattress pad or softer mattress, and nicer pillows.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway.
Owner response: Thanks Gary. We do have 2 floor rugs available. Just ask! We will take a look at the mattress and pillows. Thanks for your review.

I would like to say that I found the studio in The Inner Sunset to be a great place for me to stay anytime that I go to San Francisco. I always know well in advance when I'll be coming to San Francisco and certainly hope that this studio would be available. The location was perfect for me as I rely on public transportation and I got wherever I was going without any problems. Also, there is a nice grocery store one block away and numerous restaurants to chose from. I did not have the time to go to some of the tempting places that were nearby, but there is one place that I would highly recommend to anyone staying at the studio, The Posh Bagel on Irving.Recommended for: Tourists without a car.

Nice room with kitchen. New ikea kitchen with stovetop ( no oven, but not needed). Bed was firm, lots of extra linens and soaps, etc. nice windows that look out onto a lovely garden area. Felt very secure, nice and quiet for being right in the city. Lots of good eats all around, bagels, coffee, full market. View of the bridge from the street. Public transportation on the corner. Nice bathroom with lots of hot water, everything anyone could hope for, and at a great price to boot.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway.

My wife and I spent 5 days and 4 nights in this rental and we could not have been happier with out experience. It is a perfect getaway for people traveling alone or couples. The owner was terrific and was not at all intrusive. The neighborhood was probably our favorite part. There are so many great restaurants within 4 blocks. It is also conveniently located near the Muni and several key bus stops. We had no difficulty getting around. About 5 blocks from the rental is Golden Gate Park which is beautiful and a great place to walk and relax. The room has a kitchen for your use and free WiFi as well. We found the room to be very clean and well maintained. We had no complaints at all and would happily rent here again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway.
