Located just across the street from the Cave Rock beach and boat launch with panoramic views, fishing off big rock jetty, picnic tables, BBQ, huge, sandy beach for summer sunning, swimming as well as great snow play in winter, Easy launch for jet skis, fishing and water skiing . Zephyr Cove two minutes away with lots of activities such as horseback riding, parasailing, jet ski fishing and water skiing rentals, volleyball,
boat site-seeing private and guided excursions. Beautiful, back counry snow mobile tours in the winter. Only five mintues from shopping at Round Hill Village Mall and 8-10 minutes to downtown area with casinos, Heavenly Valley Ski Resort village and gondola, restaurants, shops and, theaters. Cabin is perfect for the couple getaway or family summer or winter vacation of up to six. Well equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, wood burning stove with new hearth and furnace. New full/queen, thick, very comfortable futon in second bedroom. Children and young adults can use the queen aerobed and long couch downstairs in livng room by TV and fireplace. My family and I spend a wonderful time in Lake Tahoe; the house was very cozy and perfect for the 6 of us, we never felt cold and we were close to the restaurants, supermarket and the snowboard resort (heavenly). Also, we could walk our dogs around the area and even go yo the lake which is walking distance, even though the road was closed to walk the dogs to the lake due to the amout of snow; they still had a wonderful time playing in the snow. I would totally go back to this place for winter time.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
