Amazing Victorian House in Sf with Garden and Roof Top Deck!
- Minimum stay:3 nights
- Internet:Yes
- Pets allowed:No
- Wheel chair accessible:No
This is a beautiful Victorian house on a quiet street in the heart of San Francisco between the Castro, the Mission and Noe Valley. Walking through the front door, the house opens to a modern light filled space with 12 foot ceilings. There are 3 seating areas and a media center artfully tucked into a Japanese Tanzu chest. There is a bright artsy dining table with a collection of hand painted chairs. There is also a full bed on this level and an ultra-modern bathroom on this floor featuring a hand blown glass sink.
The newly renovated kitchen is open to the main living area with granite counter tops and new appliances and is fully stocked. A feature is the foot-operated, water-saving sink. It’s a beautiful, open, eat-in space with huge light- and plant-filled windows on 3 sides that opens directly onto the spacious patio where you can also eat outside or just sit for a calming break from the excitement of the city.
Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms (one queen and one full) sharing a full bathroom with toto heated wash let toilet seat, and large tub. Stepping out the master bedroom door or the bathroom window/door is a large sun filled deck with claw-foot soaking tub plumbed hot and cold. You can watch the sun go down over the city from your soaking seclusion! Or just enjoy end of day treats up on the sun roof!

The perfect combo: it is a beautiful house on a quiet street, with two tranquil backyard patios, and very close to lots of great cafes and public transit. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and has all-new appliances. The footpedals on the sink are a great invention when you've got your hands dirty! The living room and dining room are quite spacious (moreso than they looked in the pictures), and personally I love the little touches like the Japanese toilet in the master bedroom. The house is close by to lots of great restaurants - I loved Starbelly, Thorough bread, and of course hanging out in Dolores Park on a sunny day. Tons of places deliver so if you want to be lazy after a day out and about, just order in and relax on the patio (or in the tub!). I would definitely recommend staying here, and the owners/managers were very accommodating.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

Beautiful, bright, spacious home in a great location. Public transport close by and a range of shops and restaurants a short walk away. Well stocked and equipped kitchen. Open plan living area with cosy corners for a quiet read as well. Also a sun trap roof garden. We had a problem with the lock on the front door and were locked out for a morning but found the rental agency (come2sf.com) to be very prompt and helpful in sorting it out, especially given the fact that it was a Sunday morning. (For future reference I think the lock was going to be replaced). Would benefit from parking and laundry facilities but apart from that a very comfortable, well decorated home.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway.

We had a lovely stay on Prosper Street. Our family of four really had a delightful time. The house is absolutely gorgeous and decked out with all the amenities. The beds and linens were comfy. The kitchen was fantastic, with all the stuff you could ask for. Grocery stores and restaurants within walking distance. So convenient to transportation, just a street car ride away from all the major attractions, including Fisherman's Wharf, Embarcadero, etc. We rented a car, which became more trouble than it's worth. Skip the car and rent this place, you won't regret it.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1
