What a fabulous find! We arrived past midnight but we could already see that the place was inviting and charming. When we awoke to the sounds of nature, our doggies couldn't wait to go exploring. There were acres of land for our doggies to trapse through; they were SO happy! We loved seeing all the animals on the property, the pool was very inviting (we ate breakfast every morning by the pool, we napped many hours by the pool), wineries abound in that area and the casa was truly a home away from home paradise. We will definitely be back!Recommended for: Pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This was a great find and I was happy to see that the reviews were accurate. The hacienda is set back from the main house and is super cozy and warm. Love the fireplace and heated towel racks. The personal touches were great as well such as the York peppermint patties on your pillow, the fruit bowl, Kerig coffee and the bottle of wine. Che was super welcoming to us and our dog. In fact, our pup had such a great time playing with the other dogs, he didn't want to leave! The location was perfect for wine tasting and going into town. Really can't complain about anything.Recommended for: Pet owners, romantic getaway.

This little guest house is a GEM. I have already recommended it to 3 friends! Che is wonderful and the place itself was warm, clean and cozy. The fact that I can bring my dog with me makes it all the more desirable. The location is smack in the middle of everywhere that I was going. 10 min to downtown Paso Robles and about 25 min to main street Cambria. A ton of vineyards in between. It's also about 30 min away from downtown San Luis Obispo. I plan on coming back in the spring to take advantage of the pool!! Thank you Che for being a spectacular host!! See you soon!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

We were greeted with fresh fruit, flowers and friendly and cheerful people. The owners were very helpful with all aspects of our stay. It was like coming home to stay with family. The rooms were warm and inviting. Linens were soft and luxurious. A fireplace was great to get cozy at night and kept the house warm and inviting. There were wonderful places to eat within just a few miles. A farmer's market had local color and flavor. The beach was a short drive away. Wineries are abundant in the area as are local shops. I look forward to another opportunity to go back and visit the area as well as hope to spend even more time. Our weekend there hardly seemed like enough time. Either for a relaxing weekend or a romantic getaway. This would be my place of choice if I were to find myself with the chance to go to Paso Robles.Did you find this review helpful? My friend and I stayed here for Harvest Festival weekend. We were welcomed so warmly by Che as soon as we arrived (even though it was late at night!). The grounds are gorgeous and the cottage is impeccable and charming. Bottle of wine, great furniture and fireplace. I came with friend, but it would be a great romantic place to be. So close to wineries in every direction, yet isolated enough you feel a sense of privacy in the country. A great deal! Che makes it very special.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I can't think of another word that would emphasize our experience and the convenience to the fantastic, Paso Robles wine scene. The casida was perfect for a wine country getaway. Actually, the property and hosts were too perfect that some mornings, I didn't want to leave the poolside. "Aw, do we have to go taste wine?" Frankly, I'm not a fan of pets. So all of the talk in the reviews of the dogs, horses, goats and roosters, had me a little nervous. It took about 10 minutes for my heart to warm up to some of the resident, rescue dogs, that I might have to rethink my hard stance on pets. The hospitality was first class and the property was so unique, you'll be left thinking why you would ever return and stay in a hotel. We changed our restaurant mentality for dinner to picking up good, take-out meals. We later, reheated them, uncorked some of our local wine buys, and sat poolside with a candlelight meal under the stars. How can you possibly describe a better getaway!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

This rental is in a beautiful location. The weather was unbearable hot that week, so we headed to the coast a few times. Wine tasting was close by and the town of Paso is a friendly place.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.

My husband and I wanted a little get away that we could take our dogs, and this was a great stay! All of us had a great time; either enjoying the pool, going over to the coast, wine tasting, or just relaxing. We enjoy the wine country, and we were able to find a few wonderful wineries during our stay. Even joining a couple wine clubs. We will definitely return for another visit maybe in September we'll see. The pool house is amazing, and set up so cute! Loved!! the double headed tile shower with the soft water, the natural ceilings with the whitewash, there was just so many nice touch's between the wine upon arrival (on the cutest wine holder i'd ever seen...I ordered one as soon as we got home), the keurig with a variety of k-cup choices to pick from, comfy couch to watch all premium channels on Directv. We also took the dogs for a walk up to see the horses, and just around the property. They enjoyed themselves as well as we did!! Thanks!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

What a wonderful place! This property is beautiful and perfectly situated on the west side of Paso Robles. Convenient for wine tasting, bicycling, shopping and restaurants. The hacienda is clean and beautifully appointed including a comfortable bed, big shower, and fireplace. The pool is PERFECT for floating on the inflatable chaise lounge after a long bicycle ride. Thank you Che'! The owners are gracious hosts and happy to help in any way they can.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

There aren't enough words to describe the time we spent at this amazing vacation guest house. The hacienda was spectacular. Meticulously clean, warm and inviting, with a bottle of wine upon our arrival. Huge shower, beautifully decorated and the bed was so comfortable - I don't believe we have felt softer sheets. It was pure peace. Che and Margaret made our stay unforgetable. They were unbelievably warm and caring and so much fun to be around. We couldn't wait to get up in the mornings, grab a cup of coffee and head out for a walk to visit the horses, sheep, cows and dogs. We will definitely be back to stay at this little slice of heaven. Thank you so much Margaret, Che, and Rod Colleen & VinceDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

My husband and I were traveling for business and found the guest house available on short notice. The hacienda (main house) is a couple of centuries old and the guest house was built in the 1940's in the same style. Thick adobe walls kept us cool in the unseasonably warm weather (although Che said there was A/C available - we didn't need it). The owners are on site and are there to take care of any of your needs. However, they had already thought of everything so we didn't need to ask for anything. Upon our arrival, Rod was there to greet us and get us settled. When we got to the guest house there was a bottle of local wine awaiting us. We uncorked it, poured a couple of glasses and strolled the property. We ran into Che up at the barn and visited with him and learned the history of the property and the animals (of which there are many). The sheets were so comfortable that I checked the tags so I could buy a set for home. Seriously. Che recommended a couple of restaurants and both were excellent - one for dinner and the other for breakfast. The house is smack in the middle of wine country. You can't throw a rock in any direction without hitting a winery. Our stay was peaceful and relaxing, just what we needed.Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We just finished up our second stay here. We had such a good time the first time,we wondered if we had built it up in our minds and might be disappointed. Not at all. Everything is done to make the guest feel comfortable and at home. The grounds are beautiful. No hotel could give you the unique Paso Robles experience you'll get from Rancho La Campana. Close to the city but in the country, you might not want to leave. A pet owners dream, your animals may enjoy themselves even more than you do. They can run around and make friends with the host's animals. We like that we came at a different season from last time(Autumn). It makes us want to visit each season to experience the subtle changes of nature. We highly recommend it.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 3/3

The guest house was beautifully decorated, clean and very comfortable. A gentleman named Che welcomed us and made sure we knew where everything was. The list of good local restaurants he gave us was very helpful. There were so many wineries to choose from in Paso Robles and one of them was a short walk down the road. Being able to visit the farm animals each morning was such an added peaceful pleasure. We are already planning our next visit in the fall.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 5/5
