Serenity Nassau- Steps to Ocean Beach 3/2.5 Security & Pools
View the beautiful, turquoise sea from every window of this lovely, serene townhome. Walk out your door to the beautiful beach, with sand almost as white and soft as flour. Enjoy the ‘sunrise’ or the ‘sunset’ swimming pools, both with stunning ocean views. Fall asleep to the sound of the ocean. Welcome to Serenity Nassau!
The pleasure extends indoors. The home is light and bright with white tile and wood flooring throughout. From each room, barring the bathrooms, you can gaze out at the ever-changing turquoise colors of the Caribbean. The unit is air conditioned but you might choose to open the windows, turn on the ceiling fans, and let the breeze and the ocean sounds soothe you.
If you do decide to venture beyond the pools and beach, getting around is easy. There is a restaurant just outside the security gate and there are several more within 5 minutes walk in the neighborhood across the street. The grocery store is a 10 minute walk away. For $1.25, privately owned buses (called jitneys), will carry you from the neighborhood entrance to Cable Beach where there are more restaurants, clubs, watersport rentals, and casinos; or you can continue on to downtown Nassau for some shopping and strolling along the quay. From there, you can take a water-taxi to the Atlantis Resorts and Casino and enjoy their waterpark adventures, meandering aquariums, and three mile stretch of beautiful white sand beach. Snorkeling, scuba, dolphin encounters, and golf adventures await and all will pick up and drop off at the neighborhood entrance. But be warned – you may just want to stay put and enjoy the calming beach and cooling pools right outside your door!
Upon your arrival, you will find the kitchen stocked with pots and pans, dinnerware, tableware, glasses, cooking utensils, and towels. Appliances include a French door refrigerator with a bottom freezer, a dishwasher, a flat surface electric stove, a microwave, and an in unit clothes washer and dryer. Bed and bath linens are also provided. Enjoy unlimited access to local telephone , internet, and cable TV.
Check-in 3pm; Check-out 11am.

This was our first trip to Nassau and our second time booking through VRBO. William was a very attentive owner and made the rental process smooth as could be. Everything worked according to plan. We found the condo to be exactly as stated in the listing. The dock appeared to have recently been rebuilt. The entire property was very well maintained and clean. The access to local market and dinning was convenient. I would highly recommend this to my friends and co-workers. A great place to relax and chill out.Recommended for: Families with teenagers.

My family and I had never been to Nassau before and we had a great time at your home. we appreciate your attention while communicating with us during the rental process. Your home is great and we thought that it was an awesome location. The property manager was excellent and we could not have asked for a better vacation. Look forward to the next one. Thanks AgainRecommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

We took my two teenage kids and one of their friends to enjoy some time away from snow and cold. We couldn't have asked for a better week. The property has a great location right on a calm cove which was shallow, safe and not crowded. We enjoyed snorkeling in the cove, but saw limited fish. The patio and pool areas were also not crowded at all and great for sunning, reading and enjoying the view. The townhouse and the townhouse community was very clean and the owner, William, responded to questions promptly and was very helpful. Internet access worked great. The property is in a gated community which felt very safe. It was also a very short walk to the #10 bus stop which provided cheap transport to the Fish Fry, downtown straw market, or grocery shopping. The one item we noticed which was outside of the very clean community and out of the control of the owner is on occasion there would be some trash on the beach or around the cove. New Providence would be well served to hire locals to ensure all beaches are litter free. Overall, great townhouse, great location, great owner, great experience.Recommended for: People with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

What a perfect place for a family vacation! We found the property just as pictured and described. It was so easy and economical to get around on the bus, and the locals were so friendly! We enjoyed the atmosphere and the food at the Twisted Lime, located across the road in the Sandy Port Mall. The beach was just perfect, and very private. The ocean was warm, great for swimming. Groceries were expensive but worth enjoying a lovely breakfast out on the patio with the view of the ocean, and a barbecue supper watching the sun set. As I sit here, one day after our return home I miss the sound of the ocean, and the view of the turquoise blue water. Serenity it was! Thank you, William.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: I'm so happy that you've enjoyed your vacation and I hope that you will come again.

My friends and I just spent 5 days at Serenity Nassau and it was wonderful! William was so helpful and accommodating. The location is great! It is within walking or swimming distance to a nice beach yet away from the cruise ship crowds. There is a nice little dock/deck area with lounge chairs just beyond the private patio where you can swim in the shallow crystal clear water. The house is very comfortable with all of the amenities that you could need. We made full use of everything that it had to offer from the grill to the wi-fi. The sounds of the toilets flushing is a little frightening, but you get used to it. The sunset pool area offers a great location for picture and just relaxing as the waves crash in. I would definitely suggest Serenity Nassau to anyone looking for sun, sand, and relaxation!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: That's great. I'm glad you had a wonderful time. It's awesome to have that big seagrape tree providing shade. It's the perfect place to rest and have a drink right at the water's edge. It was my pleasure helping you to ensure a fantastic stay!

The condo was exactly as advertised and very well equipped. The specific beach for the complex was awful and not cleaned the week we were there. We used a nearby beach. Information about the area that was provided was very good.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, girls getaway.
Owner response: Despite your disappointment about the beach, I am pleased that you enjoyed the house. During December, you can have perfect weather or sometimes get a cold front. During cold fronts, the high tides bring in lots of seaweed. The beach is normally cleared after the rougher seas have subsided. It's good to know that guests feel our website appropriately reflects the house and I'm glad that the information I provided you was useful. Thanks so much for coming.

Our stay at Serenity Nassau was better than we could have imagined. Such a wonderful area of the island and you feel as though you have your own personal part of it. The constant, serene sounds of the ocean and the view of the sandy beach fill your senses. (No road or airplane noise). This property is very close to the ocean and yet it is protected from the stronger winds due to its sheltered position. The walk out on to the gardens and first pool make it ideal and yet the clever thing is that the bedrooms are upstairs and so the views are wonderful. The second pool is only about 35 steps away. Even in December the weather was fabulous and swimming in both pools and ocean (though cool) were possible. Waking up to a walk along the ocean, which almost surrounds you, and often sharing the beach with the waves and your thoughts alone is priceless. The small, friendly island buses stop right outside the secure, gated complex, making a car redundant. At just $1.25 a ride it is quite a saving. The supermarket is just a 3 minute ride away. Getting to downtown and the Paradise Island complex is a pleasant 15 minutes at the most. (The 'paradise' though, in my opinion is back at 'Serenity Nassau!'.) Everything in the 'home from home' was ready and waiting. Such a joy to have space to spread out. Well-equiped kitchen. This is the cleanest property I have had the pleasure to stay at. Plenty of towels for beach and bath. When, after a full day of sun, exploration and diving, we as a family wanted to enjoy the TV we gathered around the very large flat screen, seated on comfortable leather upholstered sofas, enjoying our Bahamian cocktails. (Note the TV has HDMI input – bring a cable). We had no issues with the property and I feel that if we had there would have been no trouble getting them addressed because speaking on the phone with the owners and local property manager was always a pleasant experience. A local connection allowed a sense of security.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Thanks very much for coming. You have a gift for capturing what it feels like to be there and I'm truly happy that it was such a wonderful experience for you! I hope we will see you again in the future.

This rental was perfect for our family of 5, the rooms were spacious and the property was right there next to the ocean. The kids went swimming several times, found coconuts and conch shells on the beach. The owner checked in on us to make sure we were doing good and the security staff were helpful. It was nice that there was a restaurant next to the complex and the grocery store was only minutes away. We really enjoyed or stay.Recommended for: Families with teenagers.

Great location with easy access to beaches and downtown Nassau. William, the owner, was in touch with us from the day we contacted him to reserve his townhouse through the day after our stay making sure everything was OK. He was a great source of information and an accomodating host. We travelled with our daughter, son-in-law and 2 teenage grandadaughters and the accomodations were perfect. We were able to cook or barbeque in when we wanted and enjoyed many of the nearby restaurants. We even did a day trip to Paradise Island for the dolphin experience which was awesome !Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: You sound like you thoroughly enjoyed your stay and I'm very happy to hear that! I'm glad you and your family were able to enjoy that lovely view of turquoise water while you grilled, and that you were also able to get around and experience the nearby restaurants. It's great you got to see the dolphins - we love that, too! It was a pleasure serving you!

Thanks for a wonderful vacation! Serenity Nassau is fantastic with beautiful aqua water all around. Each morning I would wake up and take in the view from my bedroom window, then get my breakfast and head out to the patio or the dock to enjoy the shades of turquoise in the water while I ate. I spent every day either in the pool, on the beach, or in the sea, snorkeling and swimming. We saw amazing sea life each day and I can now say I’ve seen many animals for the first time - I saw sea turtles and starfish and I even got to see a spotted ray jump out of the water! Most evenings, we either grilled out on the patio or made something in the clean, well-equipped kitchen. The cost to eat out in Nassau is pretty high but the grocery store was only a 5-10 minute walk up the road and there was a Wendy’s there, too. We didn’t rent a car but took the jitney to and from downtown, where we spent our dining dollars on ice cream and shopped for souvenirs. We also jitneyed to downtown one day and took the ferry over to the Atlantis waterpark. That was a blast! The house was really nice – bright and open feeling. William was very helpful whenever we had a question about the area or the house. I am definitely bringing my family back again next year!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: I like to spend time out on the dock and on the beach, too. Thanks for coming and I look forward to seeing you next year!
