  This condo is absolutely beautiful. The attention to detail and thought that went into this renovation is amazing. Everything is gorgeous and top notch quality. Games for kids and books for adults. The beach is literally in your backyard as is the pool. The view of the ocean made the cloudy days peaceful and pleasant. Cannot say enough good things about this condo. The owner is a pleasure to deal with and very helpful. I would recommend this condo to everyone. Great for retired folks, adults with teens and adults with small kids. You will love your stay.

  Our first trip to Hilton Head Island was fantastic thanks to Stephen and his incredible condo on the beach at Villamare. The moment we walked in we knew it was going to be great. The place is exactly as pictured on VRBO except it's even bigger. It really felt more like a home than a condo. Every appliance, decoration, piece of furniture was top of the line. Almost every comfort of home was there including games and plenty of good books to read. We appreciated the washer/dryer which was supplied with all the laundry soap we needed. Additional extras included dishwasher detergent, paper towels, and every kitchen gadget you could want. We did miss having a set of melamine dishes for our younger kids. Just some small plates and bowls would be great. The bathrooms even had a starter supply of shampoo and soap. These are things you don't typically expect with a privately owned rental condo, but this owner clearly isn't striving for "typical". Everything was very clean. The bathroom showers were luxurious. The views of the beach and pool from every angle of the condo were terrific. If you have older kids who can swim on their own but you still want to be able to watch them, you can sit on the balcony and have a close-up view of the hot tub and pool. You can also see the kids playing on the beach. My children felt like kings having their very own balcony with front seat views of the sunrise and ocean. My husband and I enjoyed our own ocean views/sounds from our master balcony as well. The complex was also terrific. We had chilly weather much of the week, but the outdoor pool was heated. We enjoyed time in the indoor pool as well. There's also a nice workout room. The grounds of Villamare were well cared for. Our kids enjoyed exploring. The oceanfront pool deck was large with plenty of chairs for people to sit in shade or sun. There were no umbrellas, but the landscaping was such that you could sit under the shade of a palm if you chose. The small baby pool is NOT heated and not particularly special. The big pool was fun for our 11 and 5 yr old kids, but not ideal for our 2 yr old who pretty much sat on the steps of it the entire time. He still had lots of fun with that though. We enjoyed bike rides around Palmetto Dunes. We liked going over to get coffee at the well stocked General Store which was not even a 5 minute ride from Villamare. The entire plantation was beautiful, safe, and quiet. We can't wait to return!

  Our stay at Villamare was absolutely Wonderful! Stephen was great to work with and very helpful in answering all of my questions. The listing for the property was spot on and the pictures on the web site are beautiful but did not do this place justice. From the moment we walked in the door, we felt like we were home and completely relaxed. It was so beautiful and clean with a lot of space and very quiet. The view of the ocean was amazing, the sunrises were breathtaking and the sunsets brought a beautiful glow to the beach. We have a family of 5. There was plenty of room for all of us. We stayed over the week of Thanksgiving and were able to take advantage of many fun activities for the holiday season. We have stayed in condos all over and this definitely is one of the nicest ones yet. We truly had a hard time saying "good-bye" to this place. So looking forward to going back again soon!

  My family had a wonderful vacation this Fall in HHI at Villamare. The villa was exactly as advertised in every way. It was a clean, spacious, beautiful unit with attention to detail in the furnishings and appointments. The owner was very responsive to questions about the villa and HHI. He clearly is offering a property in which his family enjoys spending time. The villa is extremely close to the beach, and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

  This villa was cozy, well maintained, and ready for us the moment we walked through the door. We were very pleased with our stay. The weather could have been better but . . .  that is one thing we can't change. The unit did match the description. It was actually nicer than expected because of the attention to detail that is difficult to notice in pictures. The decor was all beach motif. I'm a gal that likes dark wood and rich colors but I really liked the light, airy feel of the decor in this villa. Even the books were about some beach romance or adventure. I thought that was cute and would have read one had I not already been engrossed in my current book!  This was our first time in Hilton Head and I had to say, we didn't want to leave. It was the shortest bit of our vacation. South Carolina in general is such a pretty area.We explored the area a bit, went on a dolphin cruise.  We all froze but it was still fun and we saw a few dolphins. :) Despite the cold, my kids were happy collecting shells and experiencing the beach. They loved staying on Hilton Head much better than the theme parks and wished we could stay longer. We all did our part in trying to convince my husband to stay an extra day but he wanted to get back and have a day to recoup before he went back into work. Next year we plan to stay a week or more in Hilton Head, hopefully at this villa! :) If you want a cozy place with a great view of the beach, this place is for you!

  Our family has stayed in various Villamare units the past eight summers. By far, 1106 is our favorite. The Race family got it right with an absolutely beautiful, well-planned, top-notch renovation. Everything was perfect...the view, the location (so convenient to parking, the pool and the beach), the floorplan, the furnishings...everything. It was a brand-new unit and very fresh and clean. We had four adults and two children in our party, and no one was bumping into each other. The extra elbow room in this three-bedroom unit made it feel more like a home rather than just a condo. Stephen Race is a hands-on owner who called soon after check-in to make sure everything was in order. We appreciated that, as we have become very particular over the years regarding the units we rent. 1106 surpassed our expectations, and we will definitely stay there again!

  We would highly recommend this condo - it was gorgeous! We were there with our daughter and her family - she has 3 children - 11, 13, and 15 - and it was perfect! It is the closest unit to the pool and the beach - which was great for the kids. I was concerned that it might be noisy being so close - but it is not! The unit itself is beautiful and very clean - the owner was very attentive to whatever we needed. I would recommend this unit to anyone I know going to Hilton Head.

  This place has been completely remodeled. The owner responded immediately to any need. It was vey spacious and a nice view of the ocean and pool. Everything including the washer/dryer is brand new. I would stay there again. 5 star in my book.

  1106 Villamare was everything thet was advertised and more! It is the closest villa to the ocean at Villamare and the views from the windows and balconies are outstanding. The newly remodeled villa was beautifully done with very nice and comfortable furnishings. The kitchen has all new top of the line appliances including washer/dryer. The owners have seen to every detail including great instructions for the TV and netflix. The owners were also very nice to work with prior to and during our stay. We were traveling with a family group including 2 small children. The condo accomodated eight of us nicely. I highly recommend this villa and would not hesitate to stay there again myself.
