  We couldn’t have asked for a better week. The condo was the perfect size for two people. The building is located next to the marina – which has an ice cream shop, marina store, a restaurant, Dive shop, and outdoor water sport rental booth. Location was close enough but not too close to everything. We dove with Dive Duck Key which we would highly recommend – very awesome people. I received my Open Water Dive certificate while on vacation. Everyone who works at this dive shop is very knowledgeable and ready to answer any questions. The instructors were very encouraging and put you at ease. Tio’s Cantina was down the marina board walk and sadly caught fire the morning we were leaving. We ate here twice and had enjoyed our dinner both times. According to Hawks Cay Resort website, no one was injured and the restaurant will remain closed indefinitely – which is very sad. Be sure to eat dinner one night at Rainbow Bend Resort (Grassy Key), it’s an old school Florida Keys restaurant that’s hidden but it is so worth it. Another great place we found was Castaways in Marathon. It is a waterfront restaurant with a great view. Sadly our week stay came to an end and we had to return to reality. I would highly recommend this unit.

  Our stay at the condo in Duck key was perfect. The apartment is very well furnished (especially the kitchen! there's all kinds of tools), clean and comfortable, with many amenities like the two tvs, the big shower and the many towels you can use. The location is very good, few feet from the very cute marina of Hawk's Key resort, with a dock full of boats and pelicans, a restaurant, an ice cream place and a small shop if you need something at the last minute. We even went to see the dolphins in the lagoon that the resort has inside... for free. There's no beach there so to swim you have to go to Marathon or Bahia Honda (20 minutes drive South, across the 7 mile bridge) which is absolutely amazing! We also drove to Key West and came back in a little bit over an hour, and it was really nice to come back to such a nice a relaxing place after all that crowd. We went snorkeling to Sombrero reef with Spirit boat trips, at the end of Marathon, 15 minutes South, and I think it's really worthy. Amanda is very kind and helpful, she got back to me in 5 minutes every time I needed to ask her something. I highly recommend this place and I hope to be back!

  This was our first VRBO rental experience and this one was top notch, just as pictured. Plenty of room for my husband and I and daughter. We loved the well equipped kitchen--eveything you would ever need! We bought fresh fish from Keys Fisheries in Marathon and prepared dinner. Make sure you have a fish taco at Sparky's Landing in Key Colony and catch a sunset at Sunset Park while you are in the area. Both are down the street from the Holiday Inn Express. The Dolphin Research Center is just a mile down the road and was so convenient for our daughter who has a internship there. We highly recommend a trip to the facility to see/touch or swim with the dolphins! Nothing like catching the sunrise every morning from the patio. It was the perfect get-a-way from our cold Nebraska winter. We will definitely recommend this condo to friends and family!

  My husband and I just spent a month at this condo. By the end it was easy to call it home. The condo was beautifully decorated. No trickery, it looked exactly like the pictures. Since it was a standalone 12 unit building it gave us what we were mostly looking for - relaxation. Since it is centrally located we were close enough to Islamarada and Marathon for daytime fishing and evening dinners. Sombrero beach was a favorite hangout for me to read and write. We would highly recommend it for your winter escape from the cold north. Thanks Bob and Amanda for sharing your little paradise with us.

  We are halfway through our stay at this property and so delighted by the site! The condo is as described but so much more. Looking out over the Marina at Hawk's Cay it is an adventure every day! Lots of action on the docks and fun people to meet and share a drink with a Tio's. The proximity to Islamorada and Key West is perfect and three awesome state parks are within a 15 minute drive. Everyday has been sun, clouds, some wind, and in the 70's. We will be heading over to see the Dolphins this coming week and a trip to the turtle hospital is surely in the offing. Local fish markets and a great meal at Mangrove Mama's has already been a part of this trip. Not sure what this next week wil bring but relaxation and fun, for sure! We will surely be back!   My husband and I spent a week there and would recommend it to anyone. The location is perfect. It is relaxing and peaceful, yet close to everything you could want to do in the keys. The condo was immaculately clean, comfortable, very well equipped, and up to date. The whole process was stress free and we are pleased with everything. We could walk to the dive boat, and to some great fishing bridges right from the door. We caught many of our dinners and prepared them and ate them without ever getting in the car. Now that's a location! All with a gentle breeze and beautiful view. Our only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer. We will tell all of our friends about our experience and can't wait to come back. Don't take chances- it's your vacation, book this one and relax. You will be glad you did.

  The unit is somewhat small. The bed was very good. Wall unit air conditioning in the bedroom and living room was too loud. All in all though it was nicely updated, especially the kitchen, and well maintained.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car.

  This condo at Duck Key was wonderful. The location was great. It sat right by the water and was near Toms Marina at Hawks Cay. We chartered a boat from there and it was wonderful! The condo itself was well worth the money. It was very clean, and roomy. Perfect for my husband and I who were on our 1 wedding anniversary. The decor was great as well. The kitchen was big and so pretty. We will definitely be interested in stayng here agian for a future trip to the Keys.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing.

  Your place was just what I needed to escape to. After 6 months of renovations and nothing completed at my new house it was a great change to be in such a nicely done condo. You have done a wonderful job on your renovations and supplied with everything someone could need. I did think to bring my own blender so no worries there but it might be something that you consider later. Thanks for a great long weekend and I will be returning in the very near future I hope.

  The property is exactly as it looks in the pictures! Beautiful and vey well maintained! I emailed the owners several times and they answered my questions and then some! I asked for places to eat and rentals and was given a great list. We ran out of time to rent anything from the dock behind the condo but the prices seemed good. Our friend's daughter got married in Grassy Key. The location of this condo on Duck Key is perfect. It was very easy to go to Marathon to get anything you need. Also a great location to do day trips to anywhere! We spent one day in Key West and was so nice to come home to a quite and relaxing environment. My husband and I really enjoyed it and would recommend to anyone! The Island Fish Company has great food and breakfast. We also went to the Butterfly Cafe which has amazing Key Lime Pie (I am a chocolate person and it was amazing).

  My husband and I stayed for just five days. It was very pleasant. It was exactly, if not better than, the pictures on the website. The condo is very clean, neat and updated. The bedding was very confortable. We have stayed in the middle Keys many times for extended periods and this particular condo is very good for shorter stays for us being we have many family members joining us on our extended stays and this condo is good for four people. We loved it for ourselves and hopefully we can get to use it again in the future. Thanks again, WE LOVED IT. GREAT LOCATION TOO!

  My boys and I just left the other day and wanted to say that we had a great time. The condo was the perfect size for a small family (boys shared the sofa bed). It was very clean and decorated nicely. The close proximity to the fishing dock where all the captains brought in their catch for the day was very entertaining for all. Would come back for sure.

  My husband and spent 5 days in this beautiful condo. This being my 1st visit to the Keys, the location was perfect. Every morning and night we would walk the docks and watch the incredible boats...coming and going. Had a wonderful and very relaxing stay! Will definitely return!!! Thank you!

  The condo was amazing, the location is perfect, very close to the water. Totally redone inside the bathroom is stunning and the kitchen, just as breathtaking. I highly recommend this location, you will not be disappointed.
