Charming vacation rental. NIcely priced. Within walking distance of downtown Pagosa Springs. Had everything we needed or wanted. Excellent place to come home to after a day of skiing. Property owner is wonderful to deal with. However if watchingTV or WIFI is an issue for you than this is not the house for you. Home has a very nice flat screened TV and a great selection of movies. This worked for us as we have our own wifi and we didn't go on vacation to watch TV. We would rent this home again.Recommended for: Girls getaway, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, age 55+.

The property was walking distance to downtown Pagosa, which was really nice. We walked to hiking trails, the hot springs and restaurants. It sleeps a lot of people, which is also nice. My only disappointment was that it was a bit dirty - definitely hadn't been dusted in years - spiders & webs in the corners and layers of dust on fixtures - that sort of thing. Also, we called the owner/manager once and she didn't provide assistance with our simple issue (there was no corkscrew to open our bottle of wine) so that was a bit disappointing. Overall, it was a good value and comfortable.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, families with young children, age 55+.
Owner response: Thank you for your response. We have notified the cleaning company of your concern. They assured us that the home is clean and have double dusted the fan. We are not accustomed to drinking and have never had a cork screw issue in the past. Upon investigation, we found one beneath the microwave. We do hope you were able to enjoy your beverage and also the beautiful town of Pagosa Springs for your get away.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Pagosa Springs and were very happy with the accomodations. The house was clean and the yard well kept. We enjoyed the barbque on the rear patio. The restraunts and downtown were within walking distance. The town was peaceful and the weather great. We look forward to coming back to this rental later in the summer.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+.

We stayed with four kids in this house located just a few blocks from the river in Pagosa Springs (very easy access to downtown, hot springs, etc.). The owners were very nice and helpful. The house is as advertised - bunk beds are very sturdy and nice trundle bed are great for kids. The kitchen was nice, with a great dining table for the family to eat, play games, do a puzzle, etc. Nice entertainment system with many movies. I would recommend this property for active families looking for a convenient location to walking trails, downtown, hot springs, skiing and shopping.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with teenagers, families with young children.
