  This was a fantastic condo for our family of 5 (including 2 teenagers). We were initially concerned if it would be big enough for all of us, however after spending 2 weeks there we did not want to leave. It was a wonderful home away from home! The beds were very comfortable, including the pull out sofa bed ( which are not always the best for sleeping). With both of the additional bedding options being used in living area there was still plenty of floor space in the condo. The condo had everything we needed and more including plenty of linen, towels and beach gear. The condo was very clean & well maintained. The laundy facilities in the room next door was very convenient. The view was amazing from the moment we walked in. A very peaceful place to return to after a busy day of activities. We enjoyed being at the quieter end of Waikiki and at night sometimes you could even hear some of the animals from the zoo near by, something our youngest child just loved. The kids enjoyed the facilities at the Banyan. The location close to the beach was a major plus for us as we enjoyed a short stroll down to the beach for a refreshing swim each day. This was our 2nd stay at The Waikiki Banyan but 1st time at this condo and we would  definitely stay in this condo again .The parking space was also a positive as we hired a car for the duration of our stay. Mariliyn was extremely helpful & welcoming, particularly organising for us to check in earlier as we arrived in morning after a long flight. We will definitely recommend this condo to others and can't wait to return again someday.

  We just spent 34 days in this condo and it was exactly as shown on the listing. The views were amazing, the condo was spacious and clean, and the owners were very helpful. They met us personally on arrival and provided a listing of attractions, restaurants, and activities, as well as some welcoming snacks. They were available by phone any time if we needed anything. The fact that this is a corner unit makes it ideal as you can open the windows and let the wind blow through. The lanai was a joy every morning and evening and the sun rising over Diamond Head was breathtaking. We would recommend this property to our friends without hesitation. We would go back in a heartbeat.

  My friend and I booked this condo with very short notice and Marilyn was more than helpful with the entire process from beginning to the very end. The condo itself was BEAUTIFUL. One thing I really wanted for my stay in Waikiki was a place with a view. Oh man did I get more than I asked for. Top floor, lanai, view of Waikiki beach from the kitchen, living room, and the bedroom!!! I literally would wake up and view the surf from bed. A slight head turn to the left and I had a view of Diamond head! The place was totally cozy and conveniently located near everything. A great plus is that you get a parking pass for free, and almost every hotel in Waikiki charges $25-$37 a night for parking. The owner Marilyn is a complete sweetheart and was such a awesome host. She has books and listings in the condo of things to do, great places to eat, etc. Marilyn would even text me about local events going on in the area that I would not have known about. I even ended up seeing one of my favorite bands, The Green, play for free during a suprise performance because of a text Mary sent me about a Hawaii Five-O event on the beach. I would definitely recommend this place to my family and friends and stay here again and again every time I visit Oahu. I miss it already!

  My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Penthouse Waikiki Banyan! The condo was clean and bright, and very comfortable. Everything we could have possibly needed was provided for us, from the well appointed kitchen tools/gadgets to the full array of beach equipment. There were also plenty of up-to-date guides on the desk suggesting places to eat, sites to see and things to do. If there was something we needed, the convenience store located right on the property usually had it, but on the rare occasion they did not, ABC convenience stores are on (nearly) every street corner. The views from the bedroom are superb...the view of Diamond Head is absolutely gorgeous and the beach view is nearly unobstructed, what a supreme pleasure to wake up to these sites. Sitting on the balcony in the morning was also a great pleasure. Although we didn't spend much time in the condo, when we did we enjoyed the expansive flat screen TV..the picture quality was excellent (my husband now insists we get one just like it! LOL) We'd like to thank Marilyn for being so accommodating, friendly and helpful during our stay in Waikiki. What a great hostess! We hope this rental is available for our next visit.

  I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Marilyn & Roberts. It was better than expected, convenient to everything, clean, open and magnificent views of Diamond Head and the Ocean. I never had to put on the A/C the cross breezes throughout were wonderful. To wake each day to the view of the ocean is something I already miss. I would highly recommend this to couples and/or familys. I will definately arrange to stay here again upon my next visit.

  Thank you to the owners-- Marilyn & Robert for providing such a wonderful place to stay! My family had a great time staying at this Spectacular Ocean View and Wonderful Penthouse Condo! The ocean view is wonderful. This condo is very nice, clean, comfortable and fully equipped with everything we needed. The location is fantastic and only about one block from the beach. We will definitely recommend this condo.

  This was our first experience in renting through VRBO and we had some uncertainties... BUT, the beautiful Waikiki views and property description were exactly as shown. The location was very convenient for us. Our phone and email contacts with Marilyn, the owner, were reassuring, and she went out of her way to meet us and give a personal walk through upon our arrival. Our one-week stay was a value and we would recommend this condo for parents with a couple of children. Parking at some condos or hotels may be $30 per day, but was included with this rental and we did not have difficulty securing a spot each night. The availability of beach chairs, towels, umbrella, even boogie boards, will save you the hassle of bringing things from home, especially when the airlines now charge per suitcase! The kitchen also had everything we needed to prepare meals, including salt and pepper and cooking oil, too. We recommend Foodland Markets, located nearby and through Honolulu, for good values, and with $150 in purchases, you can get a large discount at Sea Life Park, if interested (just give your phone number to sign up). Everything worked in the condo, and the air conditioner was very effective. The corner unit views are unmatched - you could spend 3 times the money and not have a balcony with head-on views of the best part of Waikiki AND side views of Diamond Head,not to mention the hotels with kitchens are not even available. Also, you could walk to the zoo from the condo, and the walk to the beach was no more than 5 minutes and past a nice neighborhood. Thank you for making our vacation a wonderful memory. Our only regret is we can't visit more often.

  We were very impressed with our 6 night stay in this condo. Marilyn met us upon our arrival and provided us with all the information we needed. The condo was spacious enough for the four of us and the views were even better than I had imagined. I will definitely be recommending this place to friends and will be staying there again, next time I'm in Oahu!

  Spent 8 days at the Condo. It was a wonderful location. Grandma took her two children and three grandchildren on vacation. Could walk every where, beach, zoo, shopping and eating. The recreation area; pool, tennis, playground and cook out facility was much enjoyed by the children. Everything we needed was available in the Condo. The owners were very cordial and helpful. Plan to stay there again next visit.
