  This rental is prefect! There was so much space. The pictures really don't do it justice. It was a great place to stay for four 20 somethings. I'm already planning another trip next year with family and will for sure rent this cottage again, as it'd be great for a larger group of people too. It was well stocked with everything you could need. Plenty of towels and linens. And a washer and dryer too, that are both huge! The kitchen, as well, was equipped with anything needed. Even some spices and cooking oil. It appeared that the previous renters left a few of their extras, which was nice. And we tried to return the favor for the next group to stay there. With the doors and windows shut you can play music into the night, as it couldn't be heard outside. The community was nice and pretty quiet. We only ran into a couple people the second day we were there. The location was great. Close to most everywhere we went, or a short drive away. The owner was very helpful but we actually didn't even need her for anything while there! It was all so easy. Would rent again!

  We spent two weeks at the cottage to celebrate our 20th anniversary with our kids (ages 8 &12) and my Mother-in-Law. Six other members of the family stayed nearby. It was great having plenty of room so that everyone had their own space and we could host the whole family without feeling cramped. We have stayed at other condos and resorts nearby and we really appreciated the privacy of the cottage. At some places you constantly hear your neighbors and we worry that our kids might disturb other vacationers. We never worried about that here. Yes, there is some road noise, but we were surprised how quickly we got use to it and did not notice it at all at night. The pool, like the entire complex is older, but very well maintained and we had it to ourselves the entire stay. The only trade off was not having an ocean or golf course view from the Lanai. We will take the room and privacy over a view anytime. The only people we would not recommend this location to would be people who do not want to leave their resort, they would probably be better off with the crowds down on Kaanapali Beach.

  Thank you for such a great vacation home. We rented this place for 2 weeks with our one year old baby and both sets of our parents. It was the perfect space for so many people - we loved having the three living spaces to spread out in. Everyone thought the place was beautiful and comfortable! We appreciated all the beach gear that was provided - from snorkels and fins to chairs to kids' toys! You thought of everything. It was actually a much quicker walk to the beach than I originally imagined...maybe 10-15 minutes depending on the pace. We saw so many whales from the beach across the street, and enjoyed snorkeling too. We also spent a lot of time with the baby in the pool that was pretty much right outside the back door. It was usually nice and quite, or had a few other little ones, which was great for us. We used the kitchen, patio grill and washing machine many times. The kitchen was generally well-stocked with the utensils, cookware and spices we needed. It's very nice to not have to buy things like sugar or syrup because they were provided. We tried to leave a few non-perishable items from our stay for future guests too. I want to mention a suggestion - we had with so many people and there was only one frying pan, which made for sometimes slow cooking. Another pan would have been helpful. Finally, it was nice that when we had questions or concerns, we were able to email and get a quick response. Thank you for your help and understanding! And thank you for a lovely vacation haven!

  This cottage is VERY roomy, easily housing six people for twelve days. Three roomy sitting areas snd s dining area, along with three bedrooms and two baths. Full kitchen plus BBQ gives you great cooking flexibility. Large washer and dryer are SOOO convenient for all those trips to the beach (which is very close!). Nice clean warm pool, right out the back door! Owner is very responsive and great to deal with. Enjoyed our stay very much!

  What a lovely cottage with ample room for 6 adults. Close to both the pool and beach and a short walk to Whalers Village. Took the Sugar Train to Lahaina which was a very relaxing journey thru the golf course and along the coastline. The kitchen had everything that we needed and plenty of towels as well. Had a fabulous stay - thanks again Jena. Only one thing we felt may be needed for non US residents is instructions on how to use the TV but it was only a minor as we did not need it but the boys wanted to watch the golf!!

  We had a nice stay at the cottage however it is a bit small for 8 to sleep comfortable but the living space was large enough with outside space as well. The pool was very close which was nice. The location of the house being a corner unit was nice but the noise from the main road was loud. The house had ALL the beach stuff you needed including snorkeling gear and cooler bags, that was great! We loved walking across to the beach for swimming and being at the beach! We had a great time at Maui and the cottage.

  We had a wonderful time on Maui. The Cottage (which is more like a house!) was more than expected! It is hard to imagine the size of the rooms and cottage as a whole by pictures, but this cottage had more than enough space. I was also skeptical about contacting and paying someone for rental. I usually stay at condos which have a reservation operator, front desk, manager etc. The owner of this condo as well as someone I contacted at Home Away with questions about security and honesty of the owners made me feel comfortable with paying ahead of time. Everything went smoothly, no problems!!! Thank you again for a great vacation and a wonderful place to stay. I have told everyone and will be recommending your rental!!

  My family spent 10 days in this fabulous home in April. The cottage is just wonderful. It is very comfortabley furnished and has everything that you would need for your vacation in Mauii. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need and they have beach chairs, towels, coolers and snorkel equipment to make your visit to the beach complete. It is in a quiet location that is beautifully landscaped. The location is perfect. It is easy to get to several beaches-one in walking distance. We highly recommend this cottage and look forward to visiting there again.

  This Kaanapali Cottage was absolutely amazing and the perfect getaway from my busy, fast pace life! The property was beautiful, nicely decorated with a very inviting and homey feeling, very spacious, had tons of rooms and great outdoor eating area which came in handy with our daily barbecues! The location was great, it was only a 5 minute walk across the street to beachy resorts, and there was even a pool practically in our backyard! It was so nice to be able to get some R&R in such a relaxing atmosphere away from the hectic-ness of the resorts. I would definitely return and would recommend this cottage to anyone who is looking for a nice relaxing vacation and some time in the sun!

  My first trip to Maui could not have run any smoother with my stay here. The cottage was perfect for our family reunion with it's three bedrooms and additional pullout sofa, ample common space with large flat panel TV and equipped kitchen. Clean and tastefully decorated. Washer and dryer was a great plus to keep our towels and bathing suits clean and dry. Was really convenient that they provided beach towels, chairs and boogie boards; just made our time at the beach that much more fun and pleasant and gave us all one less thing to pack in our suitcases. Also loved that within a few steps we could be at the pool or hop into our rental car with the close parking spots to head into nearby La Haina for dinner. Short walk to a great beach or great golf courses. Overall, I loved my stay here and felt that everything was thought out and made to be convenient for its guests. Would recommend and would definitely plan on staying again.
