Location: Stratford-upon-Avon, England, United Kingdom, Europe (Stratford 12ml, London mainline railway 4ml)
Accommodations: Countryside Cottage, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bath (Sleeps 4)
THIS COTTAGE AND VILLAGE HAS NOT BEEN AFFECTED BY THE RECENT FLOODS.
Fir Tree is the middle cottage in an attractive row of three tucked away down a private drive in the peaceful village of Stretton-on-Fosse near to Shakespeare's Stratford upon Avon and quaint Cotswold villages.
Every year, the cottage is inspected independently by the VisitBritain Quality in Tourism organisation, who have awarded a "4 Star Self-Catering" classification.
The cottage is decorated, furnished and carpeted to a very high standard with G-plan recliner chairs and a newly fitted Shaker style kitchen. The sitting room features exposed beams and Cotswold stone. An open staircase leads to a large double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a new luxury tiled bathroom with full sized bath, shower, wash basin, toilet and slate-tiled non-slip floor.
The front of the cottage is lawned and bordered by flowers and shrubs. The pretty back garden and patio is privately fenced and affords lovely views over open countryside.
The Plough Inn is just five minutes stroll away and is renowned for its excellent food and hospitality.
Fir Tree Cottage is a cosy retreat after a busy day exploring the beautiful surrounding area.
