This house is a great find. Very spacious, great location and super clean. I especially like how it was free of clutter. I was hoping a "shotgun" house would have a hallway running from bedroom to bedroom, but nope. All rooms are really connected. We all laughed about it and thought "oh great, this is going to be annoying" but it was actually really nice and fun. I liked how we could all easily hangout. Having just one bathroom was easy too. SPACE!!! I've stayed in other places in the quarter and really don't like how crammed and small they can be, especially the bathroom. In some places, the rooms are as big as the bathroom in this house is! It has everything you need (literally!) Travelers have left some useful items like shampoo, medicine, chairs, coffee, bandaids and more! And the owner and manager are very nice and easy to work with.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

My brother, sister and I just got back from staying at this property for the second time in less than a year. The property is always clean and spotless. The bedrooms and living rooms are good sized and well kept. It's a fantastic location on Bourbon Street. The rates are fantastic for the amount of property that you get. The property manager Annette is super nice and is always available to answer a question that you might have. We will stay here again. Would recommend this property to everyone thinking of coming to New Orleans!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

I loved staying in this shotgun home, with transoms, three bedrooms, two living rooms, a kitchen and bathroom. It brought back a lot of memories of staying with my grandmother who used to live in a shot gun duplex uptown. Our family had lot's of room to spread out and relax. We also enjoyed the balcony a great deal.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Stayed over St. Patricks weekend. Can't say enough great things about the location, the owner, the house manager. Everything was perfect. Stayed with a group of 8 girls and we had plenty of room. Hope to stay here again soon!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway.

Three of us, all single, stayed here so we each got our own bedroom, which was sweet - but there's plenty of room for bigger groups! It's not overly decorated or stocked, but it has everything you need, it's comfortable and in THE PERFECT LOCATION. Balcony on bourbon for world-class people-watching, but set back a bit from the street, which gives a measure of privacy. Clover Grill right on the end of the block has 24-hour diner food; for a GREAT brunch I would recommend the restaurant called Stanley at 547 St. Ann street. Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop is right there as well - the oldest continuous bar in the US, built in the early 1700s just leave, take a right on bourbon and you'll see it up on the left. This bar is lit only by candlelight at night and we thought it was a real treat. You won't be disappointed if you rent this place - we had an amazing time!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

I stayed here with my family for the weekend while we celebrated my sister's wedding. This was the first time I had stayed in an apartment in New Orleans, instead of a hotel room. I never want to stay in a hotel room again! It was a great, old apartment. It has beautiful floors and high ceilings. It's on Bourbon St. away from most of the partying, however, it is on Bourbon St., so don't expect complete silence at night. It's in an old building so expect all the quirks that come with that, however any issues we had were responded to quickly and professionally by Annette and Mario. I would definitely stay here again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We traveled to Mardi Gras with 10 people (which is no easy task). We were looking for a location that was close to the action, but remained a comfortable and safe location. This house is located on Bourbon St. within walking distance of great places and we were able to see some "moderate" fun in front of the place during Mardi Gras celebrations. This listing was great. It slept all 10 of us comfortably. It does lack privacy due to the layout of the house and needing to go through bedrooms to get to the bathroom, but with the right crowd of people, this is easy to overcome. There was only one bathroom, but again with organization, it was easy to work that out. The house was fully stocked and supplied and working with the property owner and manager was easy and fast. The house was clean and fit the pictures provided on this site. I would recommend this property and would imagine that it is an even more low key place when it's not Mardi Gras and people are not parading around in front of the home. We would rent this property again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We celebrated my sister-in-laws 50th birthday in New Orleans and we were fortunate to find this wonderful house. Great location on Bourbon ST, we walked everywhere and enjoyed everything about this fun and a little crazy town. The house is a walk through and has one large bathroom. We had 3 couples and enjoyed this beautiful home with a lovely front porch as people walked by to get to the great bars on Bourbon. The building manager Annette was an absolute joy and easily accessible. Great experience all the way around.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, girls getaway.
